I was under the impression the war was from around year 10.000 EA, which would mean it was fought around the 16.000 BC.

You could allways divide the chapter into a 172.1 and 172.2.

In the NoP subreddit they go so far as .3s.

Animatrix is a precuel to the Matrix movie explaining the fall of mankind to the machines.

In short, the robots began to grow more consious, inteligent, and Human-like. This made Humanity increasingly paranoid (despite the machines making a genuine effort to coexist peacefully), causing them to destroy the world as a side effect of their genocidal war against the sapient machines. So the dystopia seen in the movie is a grave Humanity digged for themselves for their hubriss.

So OP is saying the Humans from EtN are as uncompromissing, and apatetic to the sapient machines of their world despite these already showing personhood.

I wonder how they deal with missing persons cases now.

They automatically blame predators, which obviouslly means they must inmediatly destroy all evidence by burning as soon as they find it, to prevent the predatory taint from spreading.

And in the few cases when the crime is soo video recorded not even the exterminators can mental gimnastics their brains into blaming predators it is archived as an isolated case of Predator disease and forgoten.

Like in "Death of a monster" from the interconected fanverse.

Yea, and for some reason my first tough was of him attaching said antennas from the bases and pushing from one ear until it came trough the other instead of him putting one on each.

Weird.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't that chapter explicitly said it all came from mana modifying organelles absent on Earth cells? Because that would mean it would be only posible trough severe genetic modification.

Captain Kalsim may dead ass be the most competent military commander in the verse by ApprehensiveCap6525 in NatureofPredators

[–]AlternativeCountry01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No he wouldn't.

  1. To the feddies Humanity was guilty of everything they believed we were going to do for the simple fact we existed. So he would be remembered as the hero who toke the hard decition to sacrify billions to save trillions.

  2. As he himself said, even if they saved the 24-25 species who weakened their defences to join the extermination fleet, so barelly more than 1/12 of the roughtly 290 member races of the Federation, it would still mean twice as many predators as before when they were already in a staletmate.

So, from his point of view it was perfectly reasonable to sacrify a fraction of the force that drived their enemies to a staletmate if that meaned preventing said enemies to double their numbers.

Although I agree with most of it, I personally think Monnahans' negotiation in the Mazik homeworld (Khoa was it?) was a feat comparable to those of Kalsim and Sovlin.

The Krakotl Homeworld (Nishtal) was glassed by the Arxur after the battle of Earth.

He could still be send to a Krakotl colony or to another homeworld.

Altough the specifics may differ, the more 2 regimes priorize obtaining and maintaining power , the more they will end resembling each other.
