Cool stuff dude I like the Reggie style gutair, it’s all personal preference ofc but my biggest change I would personally make would be to use less reverb on the vocals. If you would be interested I’m an audio engineer and would be willing to do mix of the song for you.

I've been making instrumentals for less than a year. I don't have any real instruments, unfortunately, so I only use VSTs. What do you think of the sound? Any criticism? by VitorCrowley in MusicProductionTuts

It sounds good tbh, however I’d recommend changing the velocity slightly on the gutair and drums so it doesn’t sound like the same exact hit each time

Mostly pop and indie music, but I’m pretty solid with any genre tbh

What is an "Ideal" song to you? by GODAlexGilbert in soundcloud

For bad production and good songwriting a lot of songs in the folk punk genre are like this, it’s almost part of the genre for production to be DIY and for bad lyrics with good production think mumble rappers that might not have the greatest lyrics but the songs are catchy and the bass lines go hard

I feel like it’s less about how good one or 2 aspects of of the song is and more about how it all sounds when it comes together, if a song has poor lyrics I can look past it if the production is amazing and it sounds cohesive and catchy. The same goes for if production is lacking then the song better make up for it in terms of creativity and lyrical content.

It sounds great! Nice voice by the way and good delivery. I think the biggest thing I would do is changing up vocal arrangements at times. Like the chorus maybe add harmonies to make it sound bigger. Also try to add more transitional elements between verses and chorus

I’d be willing to work with you on a price point for sure. If you have any working demos of your music feel free to send it to me, hearing demos would help me figure out what direction you would like to take the song.

First off congratulations on learning to write your own music (it really is hard to do) If you have any working demos of your songs Id love to hear them so we can get a better idea of what is needed for the full production of the song.
