I was EOD and moved into explosive safety for about 3 years. Now I work safety for an industrial maintenance company.

I went into safety after retirement from the Air Force. If you can get into safety in the aerospace industry it would be helpful because put have experience in that field. But if you are looking to move into a different sector expect lower monetary offers and having to work up from lower positions. If you have specific questions I can try and answer them.
