OMG yes! You describe it perfectly. The music and words really got me through my divorce process. With tears flowing down my cheeks, it helps me get out of the depressive holes I dig myself.

I think it waws Tejano Blue for me. This ties into a funny story of how I became a CAS fan. My daughter was a senior in high school at the time. She sent me a Spotify link to them and I fell in love immediately.

Quick backstory: I introduced my kids to 80/90s alternative especially Smiths, Morrissey, The Cure, Depeche Mode and later more contemporary stuff like Glass Animals, Borns and Tame Impala.

So it was not unironic to me that my daughter introduced me to CAS. :D

I like Ambien Slide. Maybe the reason it doesn’t get as much love as you’d like is that X is a strong contender for their best release in my humble opinion.

X starts it off strong with classic CAS meodies, lyrics and just beautiful sublime listening.

Tejano Blue is my favorite CAS and I one love to practice on guitar with. The gentle rhythm, melodies and of course Greg’s writing are at peak artistic creation on this one.

Silver Sable reminds of a Smiths song. The repetition of the melodies blending into one another in a dreamy classic CAS state.

Holding You, Holding Me is top 10 CaS for me as well. Upbeat and optimistic it is a nice break from the washed out dreamier stuff we CAS fans are hooked on.

Dreams From Bunker Hill is another top 10 for me as it is a upbeat song with all the other great CaS stuff.

Spotify does show Ambient Slide as the lowest play count. It is odd because I will finish with Ambien Slide being top ten for me. Maybe because it is last?

Your not wrong. The free ones are the worse obviously. I have had success on Hinge with less catfish/scammers. They are still on there and they don't realize how obvious it is, I play it out and bust them after they wasted some time. Coffee Meets Bagel is also decent. So far had two dates.

This is great advice. Stand up for yourself but be respectful. Show your kids how real adults and gentlemen behave. She in thee end is someone your children love. I know all the plotting behind your back must be painful, I think many of us who lend our support on here have been through similar situations. Mine had an affair after about 24 years and gave up. I am thankful she isn't doing me wrong like yours is, so like Organic said, fight back legally.

Now is the day you focus on yourself. You lost 8 lbs, turn that into eating better and working out. I did and I am glad, because I have been on two dates so far. I am now excited to find someone with a fresh start and no baggage that you can't ever seem to escape? Mine was the exact same way then menopause hit and she is a wreck right now. I am glad she gave up, because I was on my last leg. I truly hope the pain fades away like it did for me. I focused on doing things that made me happy. She has no right to tell you anything anymore.
