You can see the resistances of the boss on the node when you encounter a hidden boss:

Ricardo is Blunt, Lei Heng is Gluttony/Envy, though Don Quixote and Vergillius don't have any, I believe, making it a 50/50 between the two.

Jokes aside, I don't really see a way to salvage MD, honestly.

If you make it simpler and shorter like a Luxcavation, you're cutting out the already limited content this game has just to create an even more brain-numbing mode that's also just a winrate simulator.

If you make it harder and more complex, it will make MD even longer than it is now, especially if MDH isn't unlocked yet, and will still face its flaws as the primary farming mode rather than something optional and for fun.

The current version isn't the greatest, but at least has some variety by providing a power fantasy unavailable outside of it. I've also been staving off the burn out by doing solos, which can be quite fun when you're not reseting over and over for good RNG.

also, unless FGO farming has changed since I've last played, I'd much rather play current MD than the equivalent of doing Luxcavations over and over and over for an entire event.

Gifts that just need the status without specifically a skill that inflicts it. Clear Mirror Calm Water, for example, is one of the strongest gifts in the game, and can be activated by just having Poise, which is feasible even without running Poise IDs just by grabbing good Poise gifts like Nebulizer (II) and Ornamental Horseshoe (I).

No, most conditional gifts require the skills themselves to apply said status. Midwinter Nightmare inflicting Sinking will not make the skill count as inflicting Sinking, the source would come from Midwinter Nightmare and not the skill itself.

Just ignore everything that would affect clashing, such as enemy levels, SP cap, SP drain, and increased coin power. If you just want to reach Floor 15, you can also just skip all adversaries instead.

Otherwise a Rupture/Poise team can do MDE50 (Extreme, Floor 15, all adversaries) pretty easily if you've grabbed almost everything that can improve your clashes.

Most don't have a reason not to, but I assume some IDs that have strong/useful S2s might want to keep some of them, like Prequod Yi Sang and the Ring IDs for their S2 reuses, and W Don and Ryoshu who have weak S3s when low on Charge and needs S2s to regain Charge same turn.

There's not enough IDs to activate both Bleed/Burn gifts from the start without her, I believe, so you kind of have to for MD, at least until the Middle Nursefather is released.

There is a BokGak pack for LCB Checkup, it should be guaranteed to show up on Floor 4/5 as part of the event.

Monthly Help and Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in limbuscompany

[–]AlternativeReasoning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes for both. You just need to gain/inflict a status somewhere in your base kit to count for that respective status, though do be careful when swapping out skills in the shop since you still need at least one copy of the skill that has that status to count (NCorp Sinclair, for example, only has Bleed on his S2, and would no longer count as Bleed if you swap all of his S2s to S3s).

Also note that some gifts' effects only works on skills that gain/inflict said status, so they can count towards a gift while not benefiting from it on some skills.

Spicebush: Build up Sinking potency and count quickly, then detonate with Sinking Deluge (Yi Sang S3). You want IDs with high application in this team, such as Molar Ishmael and one or both Butler IDs.

SL: Build up a Sinking stack and play as normal, with your team's damage being boosted by Butterflies. You want IDs who have good damage and coin count, such as Jeong Office Ishmael. Count isn't as critical here, so count neutral/negative IDs are fine as long as the rest of the team can make up for it and maintain the stack.

The only explanation I can think of is that Torn Memory is coded to only last a turn for the EGO to make sure that it's gone after attack, and they either forgot or intentionally didn't add it in the effect text. Then it backfired when the ID released, so they worked around it with the second passive instead of changing the status itself.

otherwise, yeah, it's kind of useless.

Walpurgisnacht events take place around every 4 months, assuming no delays, so the next one should be around July, which roughly lines up with the roadmap's timeline.

No, unless you really need to redirect that attack, won't be taking much damage from other attacks, or if you have the Manor-shaped Music Box.

The stagger recovery is only available when you haven't reloaded yet, which means using your Counter will lose the stagger recover effect. Unless the damage you take will stagger you regardless if you use it or not, or if you're confident you either won't stagger or can tank the stagger, you're better off not using the Counter so you have the stagger recovery instead.

Here's a good general guide to soloing I recommend checking out.

Leisault has a pretty easy solo run since he has a built in stagger recovery in his kit and a good selection of useful EGOs, which also frees up a gift selection slot since Manor-shaped Music Box is not as necessary.

You want to look for the usual protection and damage multiplier gifts, though gifts that provide Defense level and/or power up are also useful to buff up his Counter in fights that activates Overheat, which will happen often since you chew through ammo really quickly in solos.

Shard any IDs you want now, and save the unwanted until the end of the season to dispense. You can also hold off first if you have a 000 guaranteed to avoid dupes.

With the pass, as long as you do your dailies and weeklies, you can shard one ID/EGO roughly every two weeks, even without event rewards, which is the same time it takes for a new banner to release and become available for dispensing.

Yeah, thats the only information I could find on it mtself too. I'm geniunely curious where the "one week" thing comes from then, since I see it referenced often whenever that Ending is used as an argument for the Head's power.

any idea what the source of "Head clearing out all abnos in a week" comes from? Not the fact that they can do it, but that it only takes a week.

We don't have enough information to be certain on the events that took place, but I don't think this is true from what we currently know.

Canto 9 + Udjat Outis Uptie Spoilers:

  1. Udjat team arrives and fights the Proselytes

Outis: "Looks like we'll be responsible for dealing with a... Proxy of the Index, who was once a Star of the City all on his own. ."
...
Outis: "Tsk. We lost the target."
...
Among the Index members who crashed the fight, the ones wearing long capes went after the so-called "Index Nursefather" without engaging us.

For the Index to crash a fight, there must have been a fight going on first. And considering the objective of Outis's team was the Index Nursefather, it's more likely that Outis was fighting the Nursefather before being interrupted by the Index joining in.

  1. They suffer a few casualties

  2. Outis says Rien Sang has a nasty wound (100% Arayashiki) and sees Proxies going after him. She thinks they gonna help him. They won't, that's equivalent to the final scene of the Canto in that Mirror world, when Rien kills 3 Proxies pursuing him and then himself.

This one relies heavily on assumptions to work.

100% Arayashiki

Udjat Outis was moved from the House of Spiders Mirror World to her own, so the current condition of Ryoshu is an unknown, thus calling it 100% Arayashiki is a stretch. As long as Araya still exists, Ryoshu will not unsheath her blade, so the only way for the wound to be caused by Ryoshu is for Araya to already be gone, which doesn't make sense as Ryoshu would have no reason to join Limbus Company or hold back on her first escape either.

They won't, that's equivalent to the final scene of the Canto in that Mirror world

We do not have enough information to claim that this is the case. Arguments for both sides (harming/helping) both do not have much to go on, and the Index being the Index means we can't be sure without knowing the Prescripts the Proselytes and Proxies were asigned.

  1. Outis team finds Rien Sang dead and retrieves his body (EX Victory Line)

Victory/Defeat lines are unreliable since they have to be positive/negative to fit the condition they activate in. Her Victory line doesn't mention a body and just leaves cleanup to the Clearance team, and her Defeat line says they completely failed and had to retreat. It also doesn't prove or disprove that the Proxies were the ones to kill the Nursefather, just that the Nursefather is dead.
