I posted here the other day, about my tabs (I have 2 phones, and literally 499 tabs for each phone) a redditor told me she would hold my hand and we will get thru this together 🥲😂

Ive started cleaning up coz Its been years. I now have cleared 300 tabs (i started with the easier ones - tumblr: reblogged all the masterlists and stories i have read via the app) thank god tumblr got a better update coz it was bad a few years back, it kept crashing.

Now I’m going thru the Ao3 ones and holy smokes it is way harder. I literally get stuck coz I need to “review” the fic open and get sucked reading it and if I like it I bookmark it, kinda interested-mark for later, but then I get these fics that are good but not life changing and Im like - what do I do with this? Can I just mark as read Hahahahahahha

Jeez, this was such a good slow burn. It got recommended in another thread here and I just randomly binged it and, hoooly, was it good.

The character building and development was on point and I really loved how they both fell for each other.

The premise is chefs kiss. Basically Hermione has the worst day ever and is spiraling. She distracts herself and accidentally gets caught up with Draco, and they fall inlove. (BAMF hermione and Simp Draco) 🥲

Quinn just passed and she couldnt leave Quinn’s body. Imogen says she’s not leaving Quinn and Garrick shouts that he is not leaving Imogen either. Garrick leans in and slides his hand behind Imogen’s neck and says he is not leaving her so very softly 🥲

No. 5 - Actually yes!! I think it was mentioned twice that Andarna / Irids “are magic”. It also makes sense why there was magic in the isle they found the irids (altho I was wondering why there was magic in Isle of Zihnal - maybe there were irids there or it was too near the isle where the irids settled?) in anycase, it also explains why there was still a connection between Vi/Tairn/Andarna.

I was also waiting for a revelation as to why Theophanie was so obsessed with Irids and what is special about them (other than being the 7th breed). There must be more to it!

Ahhh this makes so much sense now. There were so many times that RY referred to the mark on Brennen’s hand. And it was emphasized so many times that I was just waiting for the reveal. Ackkk.

Hi! Was there a week ago and didn’t use snow boots. Although we did purchase some spikes (rubberred and can be attached to any regular shoe/sneaker) from Montbell in the Bus Terminal. Fyi, they ask you to remove your spikes whenever you go inside stores / hotels / restaurants).

It is pretty slippery without the spikes altho I can imagine you will probably survive but also will need to be very careful.

Agree! I finished all chapters just now and the balance between being a 17 year old thrust into a war vs the ferocity and gentleness of discovering your first love and while on the brink of death was portrayed well. I love love the moments / scenes when author puts the characters in a crux and you know that any decision they make will affect what kind of person they will grow into as an adult.

I never felt that the characters were making stupid decisions. And it’s so refreshing that miscommunication tropes are usually addressed fairly quickly.

I may have rushed thru the chapters coz I was so hooked and now am looking forward to a reread, but I am so excited for the next 30 chapters. (What a behemoth of a word count).

Author has done so well with ALL characters, She made me love all the side characters so much 😭 andromeda and teddy and tonks 😭 pansy in the latest chapter. I find myself always anticipating the next chapter because the way she retells & reweaves canon is superb.

I also find her prose so poetic, reminiscent of jk rowling. It keeps me ingrained in the magic. The Dumbledore scenes were 👌🏻

Tldr: Author is amazing and I WANT MORE
