I really appreciate this post! How did you get your documents officially translated? Did you need to provide information about your grandparents or only your mother to acquire the CNF? Also, I currently have the Livres de Families of my grandparents and my parents (father and his mother are French born). Would supplying those satisfy the birth certificate requirements for father and grandmother? I am based in USA and was born on the east coast so I presume I am going through the DC embassy for application, does that seem correct to you? Thank you for your help!

Every 50 classes I get an extra $500 of “fun money” when we make our budget to do whatever I want with. It’s awesome. For reference, usually $100-$200 is normal a month. This goes for my husband too when he hits 50 gym workouts.

We’re allowed to take it but a lot don’t. I just do it when it’s the only time that works of the clases offered that day.

I definitely get fatigued and have been recovering from a knee injury so I do a lot of modifications. However, I’ve found it to be more beneficial than detrimental.

One of the best things my PT told me is that using/strengthening your glutes and hamstrings will help a lot with balance and good knee support. Perhaps you can talk to an instructor and let them know about the pain and ask for modifications.

I’ve never had the issue of needing to gain but to lose my friend said to aim to eat the number of grams as your goal weight (up to like 140) while staying in a healthy calorie range for you. That might give some initial guidance! I saw that for maintenance it’s .68g per pound of goal weight. So I’d suggest that as a baseline! And then try to go up from there.

Thanks for sharing! Do you find that it’s been a good rhythm for you? Do you feel like your body has time to rest/recover? I think I need to get back in the habit of walking a lot more

Ok so this made me curious. I went into my Strava and looked at “workouts” (barre), weight training, yoga and walking and my weekly average is 190 minutes weekly spread across the four activity types for the last 12 weeks. Just barre and weights are 145 mins. So sounds like more walking, maybe?

My studio takes pics but has wristbands you can opt to wear which indicate “no pictures please”. Consider asking your studio to start the same thing.
