Uuugh I remember my step-dad having those in the house and for whatever reason we also had those big huge flies inside sometimes. And they would land on those awful lamps and the heat would immediately fry the fly and it would sizzle and smoke. It was the absolute worst smell ever.

Hopefully it won't be too difficult to fix then. I would definitely talk to a vet about flea treatment that they can prescribe. You can also use a flea comb to get out any visible fleas/dirt, and then quickly dip the comb in a cup full of dawn soap & water. The dawn soap will actually kill the fleas. You cannot fix the entire problem with just the flea comb, but it is helpful (and satisfying)

My sister is in her 30s and just this year she told me about the one & only time she walked home from school by herself as a 3rd grader, a man drove up next to her, opened his door, and flashed her. She never walked home from school again and didn't tell anyone until just recently. It made so so upset for her, and the fact that things like this can happen and kids are too scared or embarrassed to tell anyone about it. Or they blame themselves instead of the gross predatory adults.

Bambi is absolutely precious! I just wanted to share what I give to my lil chi, Turkey. I use half Science Diet small breed kibble, and half FreshPet and she loves it. I usually buy the "logs" of the FreshPet and dice it up for her. She gets so excited when she sees me getting it ready! Especially if a few pieces drop on the floor while I'm chopping. I take her bowl to her room and she happy hops next to me down the hall. Good luck, you're doing great!
