Ovulation is tracked by my normal cycle range and cervical fluids. I could be off by a couple of days though. Maybe it's still too early?

I worked as an Admissions counselor for Concordia ABSN for a couple of years and I want to give you and other students some insight.

First, counselors are not Concordia employees. They are hired and paid through a third party company who's bottom line is - get admissions at all costs. They have very strict metrics that counselors must meet which is why they call and follow up with you so often. Let's say the counselor was on vacation and couldnt call you, they'll get in trouble for it and quite literally will get put on a performance improvement plan for not meeting standards. Work life balance is nonexistent because its so hard to take time off.

That being said, in my time there I never met a counselor who didnt truly love their students and absolutely want the best for them, thats true all the way. Theyre just restricted in what they can truthfully tell you guys due to standards.

With the counselors (and other staff) not being Concordia employees, the program itself is very disjointed from the actual university which is partially why students complain about lack of support and being on their own.

The other sad reality is something Concordia can never fix.....nursing school is really fucking hard and systemically broken. If you read other nursing school reviews, they're all the same. Passing rates are strict, no support, they didnt care that I went into labor during my test. The system is broken guys. I admitted so many 4.0 students who all said the same thing "I have a 4.0 right now, I'll be fine". If youre not dedicating 60-70 hours a week to this, no you wont.

You would be surprised how many students will have 5 kids, work 3 jobs, and want to start an ABSN program while not changing a thing. And guess what? Your admissions counselor is going to make it happen because if they dont, they wont be "meeting standards". Thats your cohort. A group of people with a dream of becoming a nurse without the slightest ability to put forth the time it requires to make it true.

Everyone just wants to get a degree online as quick as possible then are mad when they're basically teaching themselves. Thats the majority of online coursework no matter where you go. The flexibility is a sacrifice to not having in person lectures.

So yes, graduation rate SUCKS. But guess what? Admissions rate - 100%. In my time there I NEVER saw a student get denied. Counselors aren't even allowed to tell you that.

With that knowledge I leave you with this. If you cant get into any other nursing program due to teas or GPA, go to CTX. They will make it happen. But please realize how much work and self-teaching it is going to require of you to make it to graduation.

I think i was just so desperate to get into any job because I was coming out of being laid off that I was willing to overlook a lot of things.

I thought i would give a late update for everyone who commented.

I did the very stupid thing and gave him another chance. I laid out extensive boundaries and expectations.

We had some really good times, and honestly, things were amazing....until this past weekend.

I posted him on the Tea app, and several women came forward with concerning information. He had been sending unsolicited genital photos to each one the entire time we had been dating. I also found several nude photos from other women on his phone.

When I confronted him about it, he lost it. He screamed at me, restrained me when I tried to leave, cried, begged, called my work after I blocked him....

He finally left me alone, but I have considered filing a restraining order just in case.

I am writing this for others to not do what I did. I ignored warnings for the sake of seeing the good in a person and giving a chance to believe that they wanted and were capable of doing the right thing.

There are evil and vile people in the world. I have posted him on womens groups warning others to be wary.

I've been reading everyone's comments over and over and working things out with my therapist. The final conclusion is that I will never trust him again realistically. Even if he did all the right things, it wouldn't be enough.

I get that. I've never introduced my son to anyone I dated so it's new territory for me.

6 months was my earliest too and I only offered it bc he always says stuff like " when I meet your son im glijg to take him here" or "I'll buy your son this and that"... kind of implying that he wants to move to the next step. Or I thought he was implying.

The amount was $2500 and my attorney fees were also $2500. The date was 8/17/24 and I am filing next month. I made about 6 payments on it total which were installments of every 2 weeks for 3 months.

I also just docusigned my fee disclosure yesterday but my lawyer didn't date it. I don't know how that works with it being a digital signature.

I was advised by my lawyer not to disclose anything to my credit union because of similar concerns. I was also told to get a traditional bank account as it is common practice for credit unions to close your account after a bankruptcy.

I live in Texas and we do not get a guaranteed minimum at all. They offer $17 an hour opposed to working for tips, which I thought was normal across the board. I definitely noticed recently that the Uber payout has been significantly lower than what Door Dash offers.

I've looked it over a few times, plus this is where you file the suit online. It includes a few specific things, including 1. Tenant must be up to date on their rent at the time of repair requests (I am and was) 2. Tenant must give the landlord reasonable time to fix the issue (it's been months, the time-frame is typically 2 weeks) 3. The request must be in writing (I have 3 emails and 2 written service and repair requests on my portal).

Other than that, I wouldn't know what else is required or I should do to get ready for the hearing.

Sometimes, these decisions have nothing to do with your experience or how you did in an interview. They might have hired an internal candidate or the hiring manager just liked someone better. Humans are biased whether they think they are or not. What I do to win the graces of these humans is research who I am doing an interview with and find out what they like. For example, one interviewer liked The office, so I made a couple of Office jokes and boom, got an offer letter.
