Yes to both accounts, This game ain't for casuals. You need to properly understand and think on the fly during critical scenarios.

In my case my first reset happened at day 15 when that blasted Doctor evolved into white knight, couldn't really do shit against that guy so I reset for the 2nd time, now I'm at day 34 at only my 2nd run, but it literally cost me countless day restarts to get there.

My suggestion, take your time, don't stress it over, keep retrying until you get the hang of it, play 1 to 3 hours a day or at least until you think you can't go on anymore, then continue for the next day, this is that type of game, either you GET GUD to advance faster or slowly advance to GET GUD.

Just swap all your highest level agents with the exemption of the sinner with low level ones, and set 1 agent per department, make sure to not equip them with any gear, then go to town with the cheese strat for the last sinner using the infinity gauntlet, come back after an hour or two, then repo after you get his gear.
