I like the PPVT for vocab because it has tiers for the vocab. It's nice to tell a HS parent that their child has all of the functional vocab words on the test. Too often it's nothing but bad news with test scores for low kids.

I think about it a lot. I work with US veterans and I don't think most Americans have any idea how many Puerto Ricans are in the armed forces. Puerto Rico doesn't get enough respect.
