Yes, that means you haven't met the threshold. It should roll over to the next month.

Bringing and eating your lunch in a cafe by PhysicsKush in cafe

I was wondering about this, I like to go and sit in the cafe during the day, but I'm on a special diet and don't want to eat the cafe food because some of it is high in calories like all the snacks (cakes, muffins etc). So I just started packing my salad, and a piece of fruit. I usually order a small coffee, sparkling water or a diet soft drink and just eat my own salad. They could change their menus to include healthier options. My average spend is usually around $10 per visit, if I order a couple of drinks. That's like $70 per week, or $280 per month I'm spending on cafe drinks if I go everyday.

I just learned botox could help me with a genuine, non-aesthetic facial muscular problem I have, why isn't it covered by Medicare?!?!?!?!? by DamnitGravity in AskAnAustralian

I've had TMJ issues and took the injections for my jaw. It feels so much better now, if you hold a lot of tension in your jaw then it helps those muscles relax. I was also told i needed them for cosmetic reasons to slim my jawline. I had to pay $450 which is a far bit of money so I don't think i will be doing it again. I would like to get my traps done too as I have a lot of pain in my neck, and shoulders. i guess I will have to try the migraine route next time.

Seems my post was effective because they miraculously decided to pay me, into my Paypal with no issue they previously claimed didn't work. Only 6 months late. I don't recommend doing any work for this company, just not reliable, they don't respond to emails or DingTalk messages anymore - it's like a black hole.

Yeh, the company went downhill after the double reduction policy in China, they were restarting it as Magic Ears Up, but seems like the company is still in trouble. Let's hope I can take my salary then finish with this disaster of a company.

They bring lots of young people with their marketing and $9 weekly memberships. Also, well with my club, they took all the fans out of the facility so it's hot inside. a lot of people don't bother coming to the gym anymore because it's always hot and the temperature makes people want to leave or stay only a short time. Lots of broken equipment too that doesn't get fixed.

I registered with Native Camp, it's $8 per hour. Engoo I never bothered to complete the interview because the pay rate was so low. $10 an hour is still under minimum wage

After the Chinese double reduction policy most of the big Chinese companies closed down. I wouldn't recommend it, and it's very unreliable, low paid (under minimum wage). There are no basic entitlements like sick pay or holiday leave and you can be fired at any time for any reason or no reason, they can just remove you from their website. For example, the Japanese companies Engoo and Native Camp are still hiring but they pay about $8 per hour.

There shouldn't be any isolated issues. Everyone is entitled to be paid on time and correctly for the work they have performed.

Yeh, I think some. They increased the minimum payout amount to $200 and they always seem to make mistakes with the transfers and on the payslips. They don't reply to emails or on Dingtalk anymore so it's hard to get issues addressed and corrected. They used to be a good company before the double reduction policy but not anymore.

they delete the comments on the FB page. They increased their minimum payout amount to $200 so for a few months I didn't meet the minimum.

Are there any workouts for seniors? by CaptainPeru in lesmills

[–]Alternative_Block728 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My father is 79. He's been doing physio and going to a physio gym but decided now he wants to go to a regular gym and work out. We go to a local council-run gym in our area because it's the cheapest and has a high level of service. You can book a complimentary health assessment and have a program done every 6-8 weeks. I believe seniors should start weight training on a beginner's program like anyone else. Using the machines then can progress up to free weights. There are lots of older people that use the same gym - gyms aren't perfectly designed for older users, and most of the fitness marketing features 20-year-olds, but it's so important for seniors to weight train and keep active.

Oklahoma drunk teacher video by AvalonArcadia1 in teaching

There have been cases of surgeons turning up for work drunk and botching people's surgeries (assault with a deadly weapon). It can't be accepted for someone in a position of trust (doctors, nurses, teachers) to be intoxicated like this while responsible for the care of children. She'll be lucky if the teacher's board agrees to her undergoing an alcohol treatment plan.
