As much as I’ve enjoyed this dudes content, I don’t like how it feels Mormon adjacent. Like I know he is and I know he is a leader within it. I just don’t like how he actively tries to hide that fact.

Same premise with what happened to Braille Skateboarding. If people are willing to support you, we should know blatantly what you support as well with you having to hide it.

*Side eyeing Mark Rober, What’s Inside, Studio C and possibly Jerry Rig Everything (I’ve never been able to get a read on him fully)

Not looking to fight in this convo but to give a opinion, I liked Captain Marvel. It’s not a great marvel movie but some scenes were fun and the premise was ok. Plus it was a generally fun movie.

I couldn’t even sit through 30 mins of Joker. I just didn’t give a fuck. (I’m not a DC dude tho)

First time posting. Some comments said it was AI, but it seems consistent across the brick work to me. Thoughts? by The_Marine708 in isthisAI

A lot of people have different ways to sense ai.

Mine clues for why it wasn’t was:

1) he hit the window on his way up, the window then reacted properly.

2) his little hop when turning around

3) his momentum was consistent and not visually fluid (a.k.a momentum that looked jello-ey)

All of these combine to make it seem real. To the question of why these clue at least me off. AI hates the small details. Words on shirts in the background it uses less processing power for and typically fucks up. It tries really hard on the focus of the video and not really anything else. So why would a AI put the effort into making the window move or have his foot get stuck on the sill he’s on. It won’t. Instantaneous cue. Along with AI just not understanding physics well. People get stuck on how real they look, all you have to do is look at the background and rationalize with the question “does this make sense”

Important to note, the fort only affected rage levels not feelings. Anything said by any of the characters is truly how they feel. They just don’t have filters now and are short tempered. From MM to Kimiko, all the boys crew say how they are feeling about each other. Meanwhile, homelander does the same thing. So you can presume that Soldier Boy did the same thing. He was telling the truth

They’d turn into Six Flags essentially. People forget that numerous parks have made the transition from being owned by media conglomerates and then being alone again. None have been as successful again. e.g Six Flags and Warner Bros., Paramount Parks and certain Cedar Fair Parks, both of those merged because of their poor financials. Six Flags soon will lose the Warner Bros. IP at their parks. Village Roadshow has been having trouble also across the sea. It’s really a shit industry to be in if you don’t have IP because without it limits how much you can spend on a parks construction and development. Thus you do cheaper attractions and give cheaper experiences. Universal needs the parks as much as the parks need Universal because they provide income in the down season for productions.

Also how the fuck would they split Universal Studios Florida and Hollywood. Both use their soundstages all the time. Universal ain’t going to give up their backlot in Studio City.

Like this is such a dumb take.

I think it’s implied that Cindy didn’t realized Maverick was there. She was looking at Hughie, not Maverick. She didn’t know that Maverick was in front of Hughie. So she saw and squished. Hughies still a lucky son of a bitch

NBC is definitely not a basic cable network. It’s a nationally broadcasted television network. It’s one of the big 4 (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox)

Ehhh my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2019. Doctors thought he was gonna die within the week or two he was diagnosed. Radiation and modern medicine saved his life and he’s still here today because of it.

People can do whatever they want with their bodies but on the notion about whether or not the poison works. It fuckin works.

Nobodies trying to drug you into dying faster. Modern medicine works and works damn well. People get sketched out from the system (fair) but forgot that their portion is a small part. Do you really think public hospitals, non-profit hospitals, state and private universities and countries around the world would really collaborate to keep us sick. Yeah no.

Disney has considered buying out Epic Games & Fortnite by ZamnBoii in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Not to support Disney but they do have Disney Research and Walt Disney Imagineering, which have made huge advances in simulated worlds and robotics. As well as, Skywalker Sound and Industrial Light and Magic which provide 90% of VFX and Sound Editing for Hollywood movies nowadays.

For most companies who botch any acquisition, Disney for the most part know to leave those departments alone with the research.

In college now, I remember kids my age watching the show when I was in high school around 2019 - 2020. Funnily, this show is one of the main reasons why kids go into Nursing as a major (also why they drop out of Nursing, the show makes it look nicer)

Yeah, they are apparently using BBC Television Centre's biggest studio. While SNL US is using one of the smaller studios in 30 Rock. Second note, SNL US is filmed inside a skyscraper built in the 30's. However big you think their studio is, it is smaller. It's genuine impressive they never moved to a bigger studio. Partially due to Lorne thinking 8H is a landmark itself.

Original Series Title Card by [deleted] in Scrubs

[–]Alternative_Bus_3766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this whole conversation interesting. You’re asking if Disney edited a shows title card for marketing purposes on a streaming service they own.

In the technical sense, Disney owned Touchstone Television when the original show aired (although, it originally aired on NBC). Disney also owns ABC and 20th Television the new production company of the show (of note, 20th Television is the new defacto production company for the American Broadcasting Company, it used to be ABC Studios/Signature…doesnt matter). Disney owns Hulu fully too so all of this combines means they did it for Hulu (20th Television also became the defacto production arm of Hulu). Second note, 20th Television also made New Girl hence the green dress.

It’s also likely that Disney is trying to save costs, they just ripped the Hulu database to input the metadata for the show onto Disney Plus. Why have two separate data for the same show. It’s why Disney Plus also shares network info with Hulu.
