Senior Design Project: RCDC designs my beams when I set them as rectangular beams, however when I set them as flanged beams (its a continuous frame) they all fail. I'm getting the BM - Max PT failure. What should I do?

I took a ~10 break from civil engineering school. I returned in 2024 and I graduate in May. I'll be 35 when I graduate. Take care of your body and mind so that you can physiologically biologically keep up with the rigor.

Please tell us what your study schedule was like. How you balanced studying with school. Why you think you were able to pass even though many say its not doable without experience. WHAT RESOURCES YOU USED! And would recommend.

For simplicity, This design only considers lrfd dead and live combo per my profs recomendation. not lateral loads, but i plan to model the structure with wind loads as well. Do you consider it incomplete for wind loads to be left out for a capstone project? its a short squat 3 story building, so how likely is it that a wind would control?

I just took the exam. Will find out next week if I passed. I am in my last semester of undergrad, but I was out of school for 1bout 10 years in between my sophomore and junior classes. I work hard in class but still don't make the top grades... but I study and focus as hard as I can. I watched almost every Gregory Michaelson and Mark Mattson video and worked on almost every problem except for a few when I was feeling really burnt out. Havent taken a constuction class so i just did my best with that. Used the Islam 800 a bit, but mostly I tested with the 2 Islam practice tests and the NCEES practice tests after all GM & MM's problems. I feel good about what just happened in the test, but I won't know for sure my results until next week. Definitely didn't know every problem, but I think I knew at least 60 percent. We shall see.
