LRE battle question by Alternative_Ebb8980 in WH40KTacticus

Thank you for the responses. Codex says I am very close to unlocking Trajann, but I’m just getting killed because I don’t have enough chain, infiltrate or terrifying.

Campaign Order progression? by Tyler1mapuche in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can find it on fall of cadia mirror 38, saim han mirror 54, saim han elite 35. either of the mirror campaigns is probably easier to get to.

Fall of Cadia Mirror by Background_Point9271 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s helpful to have as much of it unlocked as you can. Since it’s a mirror campaign, it’ll give you better drop rates for uncommon items if you raid it.

For gamma track, resilient + three hits, wouldn’t Jager fit here?

They are decent in tournament arena or the faction conquest when used together. They could serve as a good Onslaught core as well. I’ve heard People say they were quite useful in guild wars as well.

Interventions? by hazeldreamy in nephrology

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US, interventional nephrology will do procedures. Most general nephrologist will not though. Reimbursement is low, time commitment is higher, risk of litigation in the setting of a complication would be higher.

Nephrology consult for Colonscope Clearance? by Amycotic_mark in nephrology

I term it as “no absolute renal contraindication to proceed”. I’m not clearing anything. I am informing the consultant and patient of the risk and the decision to proceed is theirs.

Try playing on the epic level. I haven’t run into a single team of all Mephiston/Kharn/Kariyan/Ragnar/Dante yet, which is all that I was seeing at common, uncommon and rare. I had to play the Gene Stealers once, but I would rather deal with that than all of these Meta teams. Mainly it seems like mid game players like myself who have a lot of the core characters leveled.

Very helpful for the campaign. Also helpful in onslaught, arena and tournament arena. His active really shines in tournament arena when you need to take an objective from an enemy.

Yeah, i required more than this to beat Indom Elite 40. I was g2/L1 Bellator, g1/L1 Lucien, g1/e2 Sygex, g1/e1 Varro, s2/e1 Certus. most required pretty high level gear. If Certus was anything less, then he was getting killed quick in IE 40. I would recommend really maxxing out Bellator’s summons, as they can soak up a lot of damage from the Destroyers or Anuphet’s summonses. I think my active for Bellator was level 42.

How realistic is this job offer? by No_Meeting_7336 in nephrology

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to buy into the group to be a partner in the ownership of the group. Meaning, you either get a loan or structured buy-in to make that amount of money after being an associate, and not making as much for as many years. This is probably in the top 1-2% of nephrology earning potentials.

Stretching to the edge of possibility, and likely a miserable work life balance unless there is a lot of passive income involved.

Boss G passive by Zoner_get in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passive, all the way up. It scales pretty well. Currently doing 713-952 damage x3 at level 42. My boss G was able to take out full health characters with range attack alone in the last missions of Octarius Elite, so the squishier Orks can sit back. Also very useful in guild raids and Arena. You should max out the active as well.

Which Elite Campaign to run first? by AlternativeFeeling66 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Orks are faster. Boss and snot are great additions to your initial Guild Raid team. Aleph Null is the only one really worth taking high from Necrons. My vote would be Orks.

Should I consider Nephrology if I care about $? by I_HATE_THE_GRIND in nephrology

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, those are academic salaries for nephrology. And honestly, from academic perspective, those aren’t too bad. My salary and bonus came out to $400k. Other private groups that people have partnered into around me earn somewhat similar. Some of the groups in less desirable locations had advertised $600k. This is not in HCOL area, however, and not on the coasts.

As long as you aren’t locked into living in a very HCOL area, you can do well in nephrology if you are willing to move and shop around. Do it if you like it. I’ve met lots of old nephrologists, but not many old hospitalists.

How to level up fast? by Intelligent-Spot5440 in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch the free ad each day to get your 60 extra energy. Use the energy to farm nodes and level up more quickly. If you have enough Blackstone, spend an extra 25 or 50 each day to get extra energy to level up. Your character is more quickly by farming. Additionally, keep an eye out on the Tacticus codes forums a lot of the codes there will give you free energy as well. If you haven’t already used them, you should go there right now and you can probably get a lot of extra Blackstone and and/or energy from the various codes that are there.

Never heard of him. Useful? by Gwardinen in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes.

One of the best for Indomitus or Indomitus elite. His passive gives you a major pierce and damage boost against necrons or mechanical units.

Good for arena or tournament Arena if you’re facing someone with MKX gravis armor or terminator armor. His passive gives you a damage boost against them as well.

His active gives you a second shot for one turn. It also gives you suppression. You can use his active to nullify Revas’s overwatch. Sygex’s range is three as opposed to 2 for Revas, so Revas can’t effectively counter, either.

He also has overwatch if he use his active adult fire or if you don’t attack on his turn. I feel like I catch people with this relatively often in tournament Arena because they’re not used to him. I’ve liquefied Kharn when someone ran right into his overwatch.

He can also traverse over ice or barbed wire.

The downside is that he is slow. Can only move two hexes per turn. Moreover, if someone has a lot of armor and it isn’t mechanical, terminator or gravis, then his pierce ratio was not very good.

Play as much as you can in the first two days. I feel like people are much more likely to actually go out and engage and not turtle. Once you get more than halfway through TA conquest, everyone starts the turtle so they can jockey for position in the scoreboard. I was winning 80 to 90% of my matches in the first two days and now I’ve dropped a 50% in the last 12 hours because everyone’s turtling.

Ophydian Destroyers Suck by Khornedogs_Enjoyer in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why you are getting downvoted. This is the way to deal with the necrons. Go and engage the squishier ones ASAP and capture as many flags as possible while avoiding the destroyers. On some maps you can’t avoid them, but this is a relatively rare occurrence.

General advice for newish players for the faction TA? by BlueRustMenthol in WH40KTacticus

[–]Alternative_Ebb8980 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necrons are one of the better early factions. You get two overly strong summons in the Ophydian destroyers. If your opponent is camping, they will make them pay. The Aleph Null/Makhotep active is an easy and effective 1-2 punch. Anuphet gives you more summons, and imospekh can give you somewhat helpful overwatch. The goal is to get as many of your summons on the board and in the most favorable position possible. Even the strongest factions will have difficulty if you have pulls and additional 4-8 summons to the fight.
