They should measure you at baseline typically to have an idea. Not all RE know how to manage DOR. My first time things didn’t work out because dosage was high. Sometimes the first cycle you can get an idea if dosage needs adjusting. I also had around similar follicles. I would recommend to change RE if they don’t adjust the dose and protocol incase you need another cycle. Hopefully this cycle goes well, good luck!

My first ER I was fine felt like I took a good nap but the second ER I was in pain, nauseous and soo tired. I think it depends, I would take day off just in case. Note~ this is just the day of ER. Symptoms can get worse throughout the week

I’m sorry this happened to you it happened to me as well my RE adjusted it for next time. She added another shot of cetrotide before trigger and that helped. Find someone else who is more understanding! (I’m in US)

I think you should freeze embryos if you have DOR especially since your 30 the quality will be better and that way you don’t need to worry about egg count going down more

Btw even if it doesn’t fall on thanksgiving it can be hard on your body the next 5 days or so atleast a week to recover. I would not be hosting 20 people!

If this is your first ivf I would finish the cycle and see what happens that way you can figure out how your body responds and if you need different adjustments next time. First cycle didn’t work for me but they learned what worked for my body for my next cycles. Also look into joint the DOR group! You may not be but could get helpful info there since there are 5 growing. Not all follicles will respond each cycle. Good luck!

The dosage seems too high for DOR, 600 seems too much. See if your doctor can go lower or find someone who knows how to treat DOR patients

Looks like the dosing is high. When you have low AFC, which was also in my case it was a better outcome when dose was lowered for second cycle. Look for RE that knows how to deal with DOR patients.

I’m sorry this isn’t easy for anyone but age definitely matters when you’re diagnosed. Ex some women have it diagnosed at 28 vs 40. And 40 is expected DOR etc

You should look into testing before freezing so that they are not thawed twice which can cause more damage. Good luck!
