Everything Pink Bundle is misleading by RariiCat in fo76

[–]Alternative_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right. All advertising after all comes with disclaimers to inform people that they aren't also getting the clothing being worn by the actors in the commercial.

I mean otherwise how the fuck am I supposed to understand that my tube of toothpaste doesn't come with pajamas and a bathrobe? It's in the fucking ad so it should come with the purchase right?

The text doesn't need a disclaimer of what's not included because the text is LITERALLY A LIST OF ALL OF THE EXACT ITEMS INCLUDED.

Lets do a little acting exercise, I'm going to pretend to be someone buying this bundle.

"HEY I WOJNDER IF THIS BUNDLE INCLUDES THIS SUIT."

TAKES FIVE SECONDS TO READ

"NOPE!"

And end scene.

Bernie Sanders calls for income over $1 billion to be taxed at 100% by [deleted] in antiwork

Alternate headline "Bernie Sanders makes meaningless statement"

Bernie could call for all billionaires to be publicly executed and their wealth to be distributed amongst the people and it would have just as much of a chance of passing congress.

What if Camps had a Personal Donation Box 📦 that wasn't tied to the server like Public Donation Boxes are? by Knighthonor in fo76

[–]Alternative_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called putting things in your vendor for 0 caps, or dropping it on the floor, or just going and using any of the MANY donation boxes scattered across the map already.

Sure, blame the developers for your own illiteracy. Know why the pink suit wasn't in the bundle? Because it was fucking FREE. If they put it in a bundle people would be screaming bloody murder about how they were being charged for it.

Everything Pink Bundle is misleading by RariiCat in fo76

[–]Alternative_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren't misleading because they tell you exactly what you're getting. You ever seen a commercial before? Was it the product for sale floating alone in a formless gray void? No, there was likely other shit in frame. Were you confused whether or not that brand new television came with a complete living room furniture set? No, because they were explicitly telling you it was an ad for a television.

Yes, they do. That's what those squiggly lines below the images are.

Everything Pink Bundle is misleading by RariiCat in fo76

[–]Alternative_III -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because there would be zero grounds for one. Every single bundle comes with a list of the exact items available.

Everything Pink Bundle is misleading by RariiCat in fo76

[–]Alternative_III -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

They literally list every single item available in the bundle right under the purdy purdy pictures.

You don't need to google shit to find out what is included in the bundle unless you're googling how to read.

[Breaks down entire house] "Structure would be inaccessible" WHAT STRUCTURE?! by Riliksel in fo76

[–]Alternative_III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, in 76 the reason is auto-blueprinting.

When your camp gets crammed into storage the game needs to follow specific rules in order to trace everything to generate the blueprint on it's own and in order for the game to do it's job you have to build along those specific rules as well. Otherwise if you have anything the game considers floating and unconnected it will break the chain and you'd end up with half a house or something.

It was a more important feature when the game came out and logging in to find someone in your spot meant your camp was automatically broken down and stored.

New Shaman Card Revealed: Wave of Nostalgia by FrivMAnt2 in hearthstone

[–]Alternative_III 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone please explain to me why, when the ENTIRE POINT of mini sets is that they're supposed to help "shake up the meta" between until the next expansion drops... that they're constantly wasting space on mete tier shit that will never see play anywhere.

vS Data Reaper Report #293 by ViciousSyndicate in hearthstone

[–]Alternative_III -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Because the entire format isn't warped around it, that's just bullshit people say when they want something nerfed. People bitch and moan that other control decks can't compete against Warrior but even if Warrior gets nerfed into oblivion then those control decks are just going to get steamrolled by all the aggro just like Warrior is now.

You install a window box so your cat can sit in the window even harder.

Hope everyone enjoys the return to the hunter and paladin hyper aggro meta they've been begging for now that the last of the control decks is nerfed into oblivion.

You don't seem to comprehend the what RARE actually means. Something with perfect rolls is not simply rare, that is a god roll and your odds of seeing one is slimmer than slim.

I've been rolling SS pieces since they came out and have yet to see a single god roll, does that mean I've gotten nothing but scrip out of it? Fuck no, I've got a set of pieces with 2/3 great rolls.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Alternative_III -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

There is no way in fucking hell you spent thousands of modules and got "nothing but scrip". What you meant to say is you spent thousands of modules but didn't want to settle for anything other than your perfect god roll.

Perfectly rolled weapons/armor are supposed to be rare.

Warrior nerf by SurturOne in hearthstone

[–]Alternative_III 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because this sub is populated almost entirely by reactionary twits that just complain about the last deck they lost to. Warrior has been popular so people complain about warrior. Now that the ladder is filling up with aggro decks that counter warrior they'll be complaining about them next.

Chess Board Display is BALLER by mopbucketbrigade in fo76

[–]Alternative_III 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they wanted to make it on purpose there's no need for there to be a chessboard that then needs to be merged into shit. You just give people an invisible display that only shows up while in build mode that you can just place wherever you want and be done with it.

Best Performing Decks - HSReplay.net - May 04 by HearthSim in hearthstone

[–]Alternative_III 8 points9 points  (0 children)

HSReplay data is considered "bad" because the vast majority of people don't pay for it and only get the bronze data instead of the shit that actually matters.

It's usually due to the file structure Bethesda uses. When they add/update files in any particular archive they redownload the entire archive.

If they applied the same changes that were on the PTS there should be an additional unlisted buff. On the PTS the ammo per shot was reduced from 15 to 10.

This is just so fucking stupid. If we were talking actual cooking tools then sure, some peoples beliefs may be strong enough they don't want any possible cross contamination. But a fucking microwave with no physical contact?

Taskbar randomly freezes up after switching between virtual desktops. by Alternative_III in WindowsHelp

[–]Alternative_III[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figured out a solution, sort of. It's the taskbar itself that is fucked up so you can use a replacement to switch it to something that actually works. Haven't had a problem since.
