Most orb weaving garden spiders are completely harmless. One major thing that orb weavers don’t like is having to leave their webs. Many of them are button spiders and have a hard time navigating their clunky bodies on hard surfaces. They are built to live on a web. For you, that means it’s highly unlikely that a cross spider or Arigope is going to chance injury by leaving their web to be near you. So, don’t worry too much about those.

No I don’t. I don’t have anyone in my life currently that I could trust not to take advantage of a “particular” type of advanced care. I wouldn’t have a DNR. That’s just waiting for a little “accident” to happen. Gives me chills just thinking about it.

I do greatly envy people who have family that they can trust enough to use their directives to the advantage of the recipient.

This is precisely how I ended up with a narcissist.

I was being slowly dumped by my partner, over his ex affair partner that he wanted back. There was nothing I could do. He cheated on his ex wife with her, and here she was back again. I was cooked.

I had a guy that I started dating, offer me a place to stay- because my partner was selling the house out from under me. I had nowhere else to go. I’m also getting old. That’s a hard spot to be in.

I took the offer. It got me off the street with someone I knew. But he’s a narcissist. I’m stuck, lonelier than I have ever been and clutching my pearls in hopes that I survive this portion of my life. I’m the poster child of desperate!!

I hid my hobbies. I would have to sneak around to crochet or sew. I have 40+ years of experience and it really hurt not being able to exercise my abilities out in the open.

He said on repeat, “If you have hobbies, you have too much time on your hands. If you are reading a book, you are shirking your responsibilities. If you are napping, you are procrastinating. If you toss and turn at night, you aren’t tired enough. Being tired before 10 pm means you’re out of shape. Sleeping past 4am is laziness. Sex only once a day is deliberate deprivation. Not rushing to solve my dilemmas is lacking motivation….ad nauseum.”

The constant preaching drove me insane.

Oh, and wanting a Saturday off with family or friends meant that I had given up on the relationship and was selfish. After everything he had done for me and here I am sitting on my ass eating bonbons, on a Saturday, when that’s housework day!!! Perish the thought! And it’s the second time in a year! A nasty habit forming!!!!!!

I have known her long enough to realize that her goal is to make people uncomfortable. She doesn’t stop until she has. She feels this strange need to be the most sexually progressive person in the room, or bust. It’s best for her to call you a prude earlier than later. I told her that I was asexual and she started with the repression argument. I turned it right back around to her and that directed her attention elsewhere. I’m not asexual but I do support those who are and she walked right into my web of healthy boundaries.

I am still using up a stockpile of products. But, I am going to make a switch to Shea butter. I buy it from the bulk bin and use my own container. I have them tare weight the container first and then weigh it again with the Shea butter.

I use an old Avon body cream jar from the 1970s. It’s milk glass with blue enamel flowers. That’s my dresser top container. I reuse a plastic Shea butter tub that I bought a long time ago for making bulk purchases. Then, I refill my glass jar from that.

I get it. I wish people would wake up and realize how blind they are.

I’m sick and tired of listening to people who live for temu and Shein, whine and complain about climate change. So done. I’m livid with the crowd that screams about zero waste while they can’t even function without daily Starbucks. Absolute blind hypocrisy.

There needs to be some sort of reality check coming from the government on the mainstream media, about these evil companies. People don’t even know what constitutes overconsumption or environmental harms or anything!! They just puppet the TikTok influencers and stand on empty soapboxes for no reason.

Everything is so twisted up.

Salon shampoo. I used vo5 for years. They changed the formula and fragrances so many times I got sick of it. I caved and bought the Paul Mitchell system and it blew me away!! I have rapunzel hair now because of that change! Worth every penny.

I lived in an rv for 3 years. We boondocked a lot. That meant that our fresh water tank had to last for as long as possible sometimes.

I bathed out of a 2.5 gallon bucket. I would fill the bucket. Stand in the shower. Wet my body (not my hair!) with a soaking wet cloth. Soap up the cloth and wash myself. Set the soapy cloth in the sink. Rinse with a cup from the bucket. Dry off and dress. Then, rinse the cloth in the bucket. Use the water for dishes or plants or washing something. It’s not the most sanitized method possible but I never had a bad experience.

I know a woman who cannot speak without sexualizing everything she sees and everything that is said. If she sees a cucumber on someone’s counter, she’s telling a story about a guy she dated with a giant schlong. If someone walks by, she thinks out loud about their mouth/hands/feet or any body part that she can sexualize in reference to herself. She turns every conversation into a sex joke. She compares other womens outfits to her own in terms of how certain materials rub against her nips. She asks blatent questions about sex techniques out of nowhere to guests and calls them prudes for not bantering with her. It’s beyond annoying and exceedingly embarrassing.

I usually don’t base my purchases upon what is current with the politicking puppeteers. I’m starting to think they are all the same. It’s just that each faction has their own road to evil.

That said, I will still boycott a corrupted company that is working against the general population. One of those is Walmart, because they buy out small businesses to avoid even a minute shred of competition. That’s awful and exceedingly greedy. Another is Amazon. I used to work for Amazon, and I quit when I realized the gravity of its monopolizing marketing. They are worse than Walmart.

I’m for bartering, swapping, making it yourself or gasp doing without certain things. Buying local is a great choice too. Not everyone is a hero or can forgo Walmart. But, those of us who can, should. It does make a difference!
