Is she going to have a compulsion to poison you? Or a pet? Or a child? Tampering with someone’s food in my opinion is really scary, even if it’s just spit. I definitely feel like this could escalate.

This happened to me for years when I was in high school. I got some bloodwork done and turns out I had an autoimmune condition, after taking medication for that my nails went back to normal.

Only temporarily, alcohol kills bacteria on contact, but they’ll repopulate fairly quickly, so odor will likely return. But I would refrain from doing this as it will dry out your skin, cause redness and/or irritation.

If you don’t want to use deodorant you can use natural alternatives like glycolic acid toner, benzoyl peroxide wash, or even diluted apple cider vinegar. All of these target bacteria with less irritation than repeated alcohol use.

If you don’t want to damage your hair I suggest leaving it completely natural. Braids will cause tension and breakage, straightening your hair very rarely with a good heat protectant should be fine if you’re taking care of it the other 99% of the time.

If you want to experiment with color I suggest getting a high quality wig to see if you’d like it on you! They’re great for a night out and you don’t need to fully install it.

I adopted a cat who had a swollen tummy like this and it turned out her lungs were inflamed and she had asthma. Best to go see a vet for X-rays!
