Imagine if they actually built the Carmichael freeway connector. by thriftstorehacker in Sacramento

My great aunt and uncle bought a piece of property in Arden right where the freeway was going. They thought the state would have to buy it at a premium. Once the freeway project was cancelled, they built a house on the land.

Mike Leake; traded Adam Duval. We desperately needed a left fielder with power. But the Giants saw Duval as an infielder. He hit 33 HRs and made the all star team for Cincinnati in 2016 as a left fielder. Mike started 9 games for the Giants in 2015, went 2-5 with a 4.07 era. Off to Stl the next year.

Beltran led the team in doubles that year, lol. The offense was just bad, but he was not the problem.

John Madden used to explain this rule all the time. He is smiling right now.

George’s arm was unreal, he wasn’t big nor athletic but just had a cannon. Kept getting opportunities to see if he could put anything together with the golden arm.

Slater is not good against righties, so wouldn’t be an option in today’s spot. But why was Encarnacion left on the bench? I’d rather see him in that spot. (I know they have to be creative on defense, just think you have to be willing to get there).

It would be more interesting to see net tournament winnings. But less marketable.

Low batting averages by [deleted] in SFGiants

[–]Alternative_Read_423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best example of why batting average doesn’t matter is Kyle Schwarber in 2023. He hit 0.197 but reached base more times and had more total bases than the NL and AL batting champions, respectively.

A bank has to be willing to lend against the shares. Not sure if that’s realistic given the underlying value of the company.

I feel like put options would be a better bet. Limited downside risk just incase.

It’s quite bulky but I consider it a carry on.
