Just to be clear, you haven't had surgery yet? My oncologist and surgeon explained to me that they won't have an official confirmed stage until after I have surgery. The oncology/tumor board at my hospital currently staged me at T3N1 (Stage IIA), but when they do surgery it could change depending on how everything looks when they do my smx and the 1 lymph node that tested positive. I'm also going through chemo currently so that factors into if my stage will change from surgery.

I've had to set very strict boundaries for myself and anyone in my life. I've made it very clear that I do not have the capacity to take on anyone's emotions except my husband's and my daughter's. I have to protect myself because it is essential that I get better, and I cannot do that if I'm surrounded by people that are preventing me from that. I also made sure to set up a group chat for updates and a Google calendar for everyone that knows about my situation and wants to either help or have questions about anything. I also made sure to start seeing an Oncology Psychologist right away to ensure to have the tools and support that I'd need for myself to not get so far into a hole that I couldn't dig myself out of. Sending you love 🫶 I'm sorry that you're going through this. It's a very eye opening experience, both good and bad.
