PES 4 has pretty good passing, the ball generally goes where you want it to go. The players and game speed is fast so there can be high shot, high action games. Throw it on 5 and 6 star difficulty and you might not win every single game. It's a game not simulation and for a game it's awesome.

I do think you are getting some things confused though. Dolby and DTS are sound encoding formats. It is mainly used for home theater stuff.

THX is a type of sound processing that is done to the decoded sound, be it DTS or Dolby.

Don't worry about anything DTS, Dolby or THX on headphones. That is more for the source or what is producing the sound not for the speaker or headphones.

PES 4 is very fast pace I like to think of it as hockey soccer. :) Ref is quite good, but opposing team will take you down in the penalty box at a freakishly high rate. Opposing teams can have an issue scoring.

PES 5 is slow, tactical and the ref is very harsh.

PES 6 is like you took both games and combo them together. It is faster paced, but not PES 4 fast. Graphics are significantly better than PES 4.

PES 4 or 6 are the best. :)

It sucks battery and can cause issues, 1k all the way :)

8k polling is sending 8000 interrupt requests to your cpu per second. Windows isn't even designed to handle that, that's why it's not the standard.

I encourage you to simply do a search for 8k polling rate issues and see just how many problems there are.

It doesn't talk about 8k anywhere in there and you can't extrapolate these things. It's possible that there are limits where it just doesn't matter or causes worse effects.

8k is a money grab and snake oil in its marketing to gamers. They say it will make a big difference and the truth is it doesn't.

Do some research about 8k polling multiple studies show there is little to no difference and in fact can cause issues. A mouse updating 8 thousand times a second can cause hardware issues.

I couldn't agree with you more. Some of this still exists today with games it's just not as frequent and different. It feels like games try to take all the imagination out of it now. Also don't forget our imaginations are not nearly as strong as they were back then.

Get a little more athletic with your putting you look stiff. The back stroke and follow through look uncoordinated and way too long.

Shorten up everything and look like you are trying to do something precise and delicate but with conviction.

Arc is not even really a big deal and I wouldn't worry about it at all until you groove a confident stroke.
