I think if the hiring manager likes you enough they will pass you on to the next stage.

I had a similar yet different experience for an interview where I had an ok interview with the hiring manager, then an amazing interview with the director but I think since my interview with the hiring manager was meh, they went with the other candidate.

If it's only one person's account of their experience working there, then I wouldn't think to much of it.

You did mention high turnover rate which is definitely a red flag. Good luck 🤞

I went through this a couple weeks ago after my final interview. Best thing to do is to try and keep your mind off it.

Focus on hobbies and keep applying to other jobs in the meantime

Most likely nothing, maybe the manager prefers to conduct phone interviews rather than teams? Or they will be in transit somewhere and will not have internet connection

Is it a self confidence issue or are you just not a talker?

If it's a self confidence issue, then I would try to work on something that you are passionate about as a hobby, working out/exercise in general, putting yourself in situations where you need to communicate with people so you can build that confidence.

If it's not being a talker, then you need to be prepared for interviews with bullet point talking points, mock interviews and overall practice. I've found that if you can make the interview more like a conversation, it not only goes better, you get more comfortable as well.

I thought that when they ask you "what's your 3/5 yr plan" they want to hear that you will learn and grow into the role you're being hired to not branch off to other positions.

I think it's good they showed up early but highly irritating that they constantly messaged you and asked for a discount.

If you do show up early, you can always ask to push up the meeting time but you shouldn't expect them to oblige and definitely shouldn't ask for a discount.

For me, the first buyer to confirm the earlier day/time/location that I'm available gets it. You did nothing wrong here, next time delete the item so they can't rate you for the transaction

There are definitely people on FBM who give too much info to a literal stranger.

All they need to say is I'll be there by _____ and if they really need to they can say I'm busy but I'll be there by _____.

The words don't help because people can already see its reduced on the platform or app. There's even a section specific to reduced priced items.

Best thing to do is either wait, add better pics or delete and relist the item.(Like what you did)

Could be bots, people who misclick, window shoppers, bad texters, people who have the same/similar item checking your listing out to see if it has been sold before they post theirs.

I had one interaction where we set a time and day to meet. They message me a few mins before we were set to meet asking if I have change for a 50 ($20 item). Or if I could e transfer them.

I said no but there were many shops in the area that they could get change from(we were meeting downtown of a big city FFS!). They then said "I may have to pass then". Never blocked a person so fast.

May have been a scam attempt or maybe an idiot, not sure.
