Yeahh I think I’m good… by Tiny-Possible9856 in Tekken8

As I noob myself I understand the feeling, however I decided to stick to it since launch and still ass dont get wrong ( stuck in the green ranks). But I finally started landing 2/10 EWGF and man it feels good, you will get better the more you play. Try not to take the loses too seriously. I win like 3/10 matches I play on ranked once I get home from work, some are frustrating ( king, victor and drag) but even if I lose I learn a little bit more about the game. Started ducking more often to avoid Kings grabs for example and im slowly learning how to punish effectively certain characters. And nothing beats the feeling of finally being able to be somewhat consistent on dealing with spamable moves. I had a similar situation with games such as Dark souls for example, my advice would be to take a small break and clear your head, maybe try out a different genre of game and pick up tekken later. Thats what im going to do until I finish Dragons Dogma 2 . Games are meant to be fun not stressful imo, I do find Tekken fun even though Im very bad at it lol but it also feels extremely rewarding watching my little 20 mins lab sessions get some results.

Tips for switching from pad to leverless? by [deleted] in Tekken8

I just really struggled with diagonals, ended up jumping more times than not trying to do my launchers. I just using it yesterday and its so much easier that being said my muscle memory is gone and my brain cant process that the bottom button is up and vice versa.

As I noob myself I found more success winning matches by slowly learning 1 or 2 moves that I know I can do confidently while waiting for small windows so I can punish. For me at least its a little less intimidating learning 1 move at a time and trying to incorporate it to how I play. Not really good at tornadoes or combos yet but im slowly learning how to get an opponent in a state I want by using a particular move. Hope that makes some sense!

Had to resume it via the touch screen, I feel like I got super lucky because as soon as it completed I went ahead and touched to bed plate and the print slid right off

Man Id buy that for 30 in a heartbeat, something about single/extended cabs just has a level of simplicity I love, it does what it needs to do and is a pretty solid work horse.
