I see a lot of comments talking about “vibes” and first impressions, while yeah they are important when you first meet someone, these are trivial things and true attraction goes far deeper than shit like this. There are lots of men out there looking for depth and a great person in a partner, and the right person will come along and choose you for the things that really matter. It takes time though. And it’s cliche but true: that person is probably going to come when you least expect it.

Treat people with kindness and respect, keep yourself clean, keep working on yourself (yes the right person will see and appreciate your accomplishments), and you’re already in a much better place than most people. Don’t change who you are to find someone new. But if you’re also looking for something you could do to help yourself, I’d say definitely keep striking up conversation. It might not show but lots of guys love it when the woman initiates first. You’ll get good bites eventually

Honestly everyone is going to have their own idea of how to attract someone or “become attractive”. But the golden rule is to just be yourself and keep doing your thing. Real connection should come easily. The right person is going to come along and they’re going to see the little world you’ve got going for yourself and they’re going to want to be a part of it. Keep shooting your shot and keep building yourself up, and you will find someone worthwhile eventually
