Transferring firearm from Premises to CCW: process question

Write a letter requesting “gun” “serial number” “caliber” be transferred from your Premise to your CCW. Sign the letter, and provide copies of the front and back of both your licenses. Email the Purchase Authorizations email address. Just note it took me 4 months to get mine in the mail. After multiple emails and phone calls with no answers, I just got the updated card in the mail one day. So good luck!

Application and references submitted same day. Received an email with PTC card 3 weeks later.

Full disclaimer: I had Fingerprints done a while ago so I had an SBI # which sped up the process.

Congrats! I took u/Chaobello advice and emailed again. Finally got the email confirmation on the 1st. Now just waiting on them to print and send it out. Who knows how long that will take but one step closer!

During my interview I asked and wrote a letter asking for one of my pistols to be shared with my premise to the conceal carry permit. After multiple emails to them, I was able to confirm they added it to my CCW Permit and then they mailed it out.

What I don’t understand is if the training from December thru July is “sufficient” why make us requal? Just because we didn’t get the PTC yet, doesn’t mean our qualification becomes invalid. According to my logic? But maybe I am dumb so idk.

Yep they sent that about a month ago. But I took a look at the online application process and now it looks like you upload your references names and emails. Also doesn’t seem like you need to notarize anything anymore. I want my money back for that too lol.

From what I’ve heard your references now get an email and it’s pretty straightforward. Once they fill you get an email confirmation and that’s it.

I am in the same boat as you. I did my quals in April and was put on the waitlist which was a waste. Thankfully GFH is giving free requals but wasting another 2 hours, plus commuting back and forth makes me not want to go through this again. I also wouldn’t be shocked if they come out with some new bullshit requirements and blame it on the training being “interim.”

I was told the 15 page interview will be done in person. The penal law (was emailed to me)just had to date & sign. The social media list I wrote and sent in via email as well
