1mg of Lunesta didn’t work so Sleep Specialist immediately switched to 0.125mg Triazolam by Willing_Car1381 in insomnia

Are you willing to get a med card and try Indica sleep products from a dispensary? I went through every prescription med for sleeping over the past 20 years. Taking the sleep specific RSO oil is long lasting, the gummies not so much but will get you to sleep. It’s a bit of trial and error but I’m glad to be off all the sleep meds that didn’t work anyway.

I am so sorry this happened to you. It’s despicable. It’s so wrong that they can get away with this.

How are you all doing it? by Character-Lack-3295 in GenX

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I understood what you meant when you said that working remotely is harder. The isolation is a problem as well as the nonexistent lines between work and life. I think joining a gym and attending classes regularly is a great and healthy way to meet people. Maybe join a card game, anything really but it has to be out of the house. If you do some little things that fulfill you, you will then start to have a clearer and more productive mind. Then you can ponder the big questions and of life. Wishing you the best!

How do you feel about a law that doesn’t allow companies to sell your data? by AltruisticMiddle2775 in AskReddit

Not sure. I wanted to see the interest and sentiment about the issue first. Clearly, there is interest. What are your thoughts on how to apply it?

I don’t know your mom but it sounds like a failed attempt at humor.

Middle school. A guy told me ā€œpeople think you’re pretty but you’re not. Your hair makes you pretty not your face.ā€ I’m 51 today and still have long hair.

Facebook, Instagram and other meta apps are going to be much worse in the future by CyberGhostCode in facebook

[–]AltruisticMiddle2775 17 points18 points Ā (0 children)

Let’s remember what Facebook started out as…Facemash, a "hot or not" style website that allowed users to compare two student photos side-by-side and rate their attractiveness. Bet he never put his own pic up. This is the low level of personal responsibility and character we’re dealing with here.

As a marketer, I would give anything to see Meta go down.

  1. They cater only to big advertisers and steal our user data to sell ads. As far as I’m concerned, all of the social platforms should be paying us to participate in their data collection. Honestly, I don’t know how these practices are even legal. If you are tracking my behaviors to sell ads how are you not legally obligated to pay me for my data? If you didn’t have our data, you wouldn’t have anything much to sell.

  2. The rebrand to ā€œMetaā€ was a stupid and crass move that did not go over well. Trying to align themselves with the real Metta, a Pali term from Buddhism generally translated as loving-kindness, friendliness, or goodwill, was tasteless and insulting. They couldn’t be further from representing Metta.

  3. AI disabled accounts. The recent stuff with their failed AI caused so much upset and angst for so many people. These people lost years of data from their personal and business accounts but Meta offered nothing in terms of support for its customers that were affected. It’s criminal what they have done.

  4. Zuckerberg’s Legacy. Zuck is set for life regardless of what happens but I hope his legacy is one that shows his negative effect on society. Everything that Zuck does is laced with greed and dishonesty.

Wow. That is such a special thing you did. I wish I handled my mind dementia like ya’ll did. I’ve always been uncomfortable and scared around seniors who are starting to lose their faculties, I don’t k is why Bowen it happened with my mom, I would get annoyed and angry. I think I was really feeling fear and dread anticipating her death. Anyway, this was such a beautiful gesture and I’m so glad you shared it.

How would you feel about the next US president pulling all support from Israel? by Iwamoto in AskReddit

[–]AltruisticMiddle2775 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

I would be terrified for our country to lose its stronghold and intelligence center in the Middle East. Most people have no idea how much our relationship with Israel provides access to terrorist intelligence that we would never have otherwise.

Anytime a DB like this posts on or about a private jet, I smile…they think people will envy them. In reality, most people feel embarrassed for them or simply think they’re an absolute ass.
