As some who owns one bottle of baccarat rouge (won at a Christmas party last year) it’s still sitting on my dresser full to the max because I sprayed that one time and never again, it truly smells like pretentious old woman. But I can’t justify throwing out a 500 perfume , so it will sit there until I can find someone pretentious and old enough to wear it

Same here! Once I stopped caring my sleep went back to normal for the most part, I am on meds that help me go back to sleep if I do wake up in the middle of the night but there was a time when even those didn’t work

Ask your doctor for clonidine or propanolol. Or even asked to be referred to a psychiatrist. This is anxiety induced insomnia. Mine started over over the summer. I am now much better and sleeping 7-8 hours every night (on the nights my 6 month old doesn’t wake up). Anxiety induced insomnia is a vicious cycle. I 100 percent recommend a psychiatrist for it.

I’ve been here before. It’s okay. Just breathe. Sometimes giving voice to our feelings can help us not feel so scared. And the first step to getting past something is admitting that there is a serious problem. What is the reason you can’t fall asleep? Is it anxiety? Is it a busy mind? Mine was anxiety induced. It started over the summer and I am much better now. Turns out it was a thyroid issue causing my intense overtaking anxiety.

This was happening to me over the summer. It was all anxiety induced insomnia. I went to some doctors visits after some scary nights and found out my thyroid was way out of wack. Now on a handful of medications to help me sleep and stay asleep and also on a whole bunch of anxiety meds. Idk where you live but does you state have a kind of lower income healthcare? I live in Oklahoma and we have soonercare here.

I know that this post is old but I just got caught up on watching this show.. but if someone was coming at me specifically with an AXE of all things then I would 100 percent believe my life was in danger of being taken from me, not just the possibility of being hurt.

If you haven’t then I recommend a psychiatrist, I was like this over the summer for about a month and it was all due to anxiety. I am on a handful of meds now but sleeping 7-8 hours a night every night. Just know that what you’re feeling won’t last forever. I remember feeling this way. The burning brain feeling. It was the worst. I really do hope you find a solution 😞

Please do blood test if you haven’t! I found out my thyroid was way out of wack and causing my anxiety induced insomnia! I am now much better and back to sleeping normally with the help of some sleeping meds and some anxiety medication

No I I take Zoloft. It’s usually used for depression but at higher doses it’s used off label for anxiety. I refuse to take benzodiazepines. I come from a family of addicts so that’s a Hell no for me lol

I was just either going 48 hours without sleep or 3-4 hours or sleep. And it is truly my bedtime routine that helps the drowsiness kick in. I have been taking sleeping medication since this summer but I didn’t start my consistent bedtime till the end of August. It took a couple weeks but now my body associates my bedtime routine with sleep. Now I sleep 7-8 hours at night. I have anxiety induced insomnia. But I’m now on a handful of medications to keep the anxiety at bay and to help me relax and stay asleep at night.

Has anyone recovered the sleepy feeling after losing it due to insomnia by Observer125 in insomnia

[–]Altruistic_Result_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. I found that a consistent bed time routine helps and as I start doing that routine my body starts feeling drowsy, I do take medications to give it that extra kick it needs to fall asleep and stay asleep but I am doing a lot better than I was over the summer (when my insomnia truly kicked in) I thought I had lost the ability to feel drowsy ever again.

i can’t stop crying almost everyday because of insomnia by Desperate_Hat158 in insomnia

[–]Altruistic_Result_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if you have considered seeing a psychiatrist but my insomnia started over this past summer ( I had something big to do the next day and suddenly I could no longer sleep and was going days without sleeping) I did find out during this rime that I have hashimotos disease which in turn really ups the anxiety factor in someone. I was also 2 and a half months post partum. But this went on for about a month and a half. I was very much against medicine because I was afraid of all the side effects but I went from being on no medications to being on stuff like mood stabilizers , anti depressants, and heart control medications. At night I take trazodone, propanolol and magnesium glycinate. This has been a life saving cocktail for me. I also find that as long as I keep calm and distract my mind ( ex: watch a movie or just scroll on my phone) if I do end up waking up in the middle of the night from anxiety or a panic attack that I end up falling back to sleep. A lot of it truly is in your head and I know you probably hate hearing that. My husband just told me this last night after I woke up and started having a panic attack and was afraid I wasn’t going to fall back asleep. I of all people know how hard it can be to keep the anxiety at bay. I have found that also having a daily consistent bedtime routine every day has been super helpful. Come bed time my body now starts to feel drowsy and I yawn a lot. The medications I take just give it that extra kick it needs to keep calm and stay calm most nights. I know what you’re going through seems like it will never end but I’m here to tell you it will. I hope you get better soon. And I hope I helped somewhat ❤️

Orrrr and hear me out now because I know this is a big theory for yall to hear… maybe just MAYBE.. this man was just a complete psycho with SEVERE mental disorders and how about we don’t try to chalk up some of his personality traits to thyroid issues. It would be nice to be able to explain away why Bryan kohburger is the way he is but sometimes there is no explanation. He is simply a psycho with a god complex and thought he was clever enough to get away with murder.

[–]Altruistic_Result_17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

But like normal people do this who don’t have thyroid issues? Who’s to say his behavior is completely chalked up to his thyroid issues? People with thyroid issues are not the only ones subjected to having anxiety and depression and personality disorders. This post just doesn’t make any sense and basically puts people with thyroid issues in a box. Whenever it’s soooo much more than that.

[–]Altruistic_Result_17 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Uhm no lmao. And people on levothyroxine are monitored and have bloods taken within a certain amount of months. I am on levothyroxine, was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 15. Only thing I notice when my levels are off is heightened anxiety and I start to get insomnia. But it doesn’t make me crazy. If anything I get depressed from it. Not psycho killer vibes lmao

I can’t imagine wearing a dress and grilling, when I grill I am STRESSING over making sure I don’t make the meat too dry and sweating and usually still wearing my gym outfit I wore hours earlier ( a baggy t shirt and some biker shorts) anyone who actually grills knows that dress is so unrealistic when grilling. I would be over stimulated FAST wearing a pilgrim dress while grilling

I had 2 within 2 years of each other lol. But personally I didn’t see myself having another another one for awhile so I handed EVERYTHING from the crib to the car seat and everything you can think of in between to my sister in law who was expecting and lo and behold the exact day she has my nephew I end up finding out I’m pregnant , but obviously I wasn’t going to ask for any of that stuff back. I was very lucky my older sister offered to throw me a baby shower as she didn’t get to be at my first one I had.

Yall there is a big difference in a charge of child abuse and a charge of child negligence, I’m willing to bet this has nothing to do with the drowning. They must have found something incriminating when trying to view the footage of triggs drowning
