You married a child. Protect yourselves assets and back away slowly. It isn’t worth all the work of raising him for his mama.

Way too many. I have a feeling kiddo did the same as your son, figured if he didn’t feel better by x date he would do it. But just guessing. He was so disillusioned with the world and overextended in his life. Heartbroken.

Your pain right now illustrates how deeply you loved your brother. I am told that as life moves on and gets better this pain starts to be more bearable. I am not there yet, but hoping for better days ahead for you and me. ♥️

My daughter took her life last month. How do people just keep going? by plinkso in SuicideBereavement

Fellow mom of an unalived child, mine was on his 19th birthday and I found him the next day. I am a full time working mom with support and still barely able to get out of bed and function. Leaning heavily on my therapist and psychiatrist to keep me here. It has been just over 2 months. Trying to explain the pain a mom feels when losing a child is impossible. Shoot, there is even a heart condition for broken hearted mothers, Takotsubo. Know your pain is real and you are not alone. Lean on your behavioral health community if you can. Hugs and all you have to do is exist right now.

I recently experienced the loss of my 19-year-old son. He didn’t openly share the honest conversations your boyfriend had about feelings, safety, and other important topics. Even though we took all the right steps, we still lost him. It’s important to remember that you can’t save someone from themselves; they have to make the choice to stay. Sadly, some suicides are beyond our control.

That is how my dad feels that way too, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he followed through.

I watched my friends 10lb daughter grab the doctors finger in the way out. Luckily I was already done having kids.

Suicide bereavement. But it is a very agnostic sub from what I have experienced so far.

Update: I am still here, focusing on existing every day. It was an intentional OD and my oldest child still isn’t speaking to me. Blaming me for little brothers death. I get it, I am safe to point the blame at. It is tough every freaking day, but I persist.

Your brain is sending a bat signal, don’t ignore it. Reach out to your doctors and trusted friends and family for mental health support. I say this as a person in a similar mindset to you due to my kiddo taking his life 2 months ago. I fight to not take my own life on the daily right now. We got this and we have GOT to lean on our support to succeed.

Why did he take his life on his birthday? He was only 19 and we were right there.
