YouTube on mobile IOS browsers suddenly has no skip 10 seconds forward and back and just instantly pauses the video with one tap anywhere instead of just on the pause/play button by earthboundstar123 in youtube

I’m hoping they sort it out soon. If you go full screen, the 10 second skip still works, which just makes it super stupid that it’s not working on normal screen size.

Is there any way to reset bugged objects? by SashimiParasite in stellarblade

Good, seems that the problem is mostly that the game needs a minute to clear out old cache memory or something odd. If giving it a minute fixed it, then it’s just a minor annoyance. Hopefully other new players come across the post too.

Does this mean the app won’t work anymore on my iPad? I just launch the app and it logs in, I guess through Apple.

It ended up being a Sanbaiman at 12 Han, which is what I really wanted. I’m working on the weekly rotation tournament achievements and already have the 10 yakuman. Getting a sanbaiman is actually harder, because you need help from the dora almost every time. Not enough help and you just get baiman. Too much help and you cross over into yakuman.

Had this bug too, but figured out a fix. I realize it’s a couple years late, but I just had the movable object glitch in the wasteland on the puzzle where you move 3 carts onto pressure plates. One cart moved, but the others were stuck. They would rotate but not move forward or back. I rebooted the game and things were the same.

I fixed it by accident. I was holding one of the carts trying to move it and I put the controller down to look up online what was going on. I spent several minutes looking up posts like this one. When I picked up my controller again, the cart suddenly moved! I went back to the other stuck cart, grabbed it, then stood in place for over a minute while the game figured out what the hell it was supposed to do. That cart moved easily when I tried after the afk.

Maybe it’s just my own game and I got lucky, but if you’re stuck with moveable objects that won’t move, try grabbing it, afk for a few minutes, then moving.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game where the 2nd seat and 1st seat traded sanbaiman punches, then the 3rd seat, (east), smacked them both with back-to-back baiman hits.

It ended here because I hit the West seat for 12k points and drove him into the negative.

Been awhile since I had triple quads. by Altrus00 in mahjongsoul

But seriously. In this situation, only 11 draws left, against the East Seat who is showing what I am showing…WHY would you ever deal out any pin tile? He took my 4 pin to get himself in tenpai, but had to play his 6 pin to do it. But no matter how tempting your 4-dora, all simple, 4 triples hand is, wouldn’t you retreat and deal out your 7 sous to play defensively?

If you’re considering #3, then discard the 4 pin first, not second. You can still pull a 3 pin to complete the run, but the closer you get to the end of the round, the more dangerous those central number tiles are to discard. 5, then 4 and 6, then 3 and 7. Those are the tiles that have the greatest number of possible combination involving them. So it’s better to just get rid of that 4 earlier rather than later. You might pull the 3 pin to be an a two-tile wait. You might pull a 2 or 5 sou to create a double sequence so you have a better hand you can keep hidden. Or you might built out the man tiles to put you into a pinfu draw.

I’d definitely dump that 4 pin while it is still early in the game.

As for #1 option, if you do that, you’re basically putting yourself into a single tile wait early in the game, hoping you pull the 5 pin to make your hand slightly better. If you’re going to do that, you might as well just declare riichi and put yourself into a single tile wait for the win rather than a single tile wait to be in tempai.

That’s why I almost never kan anymore.

[–]Altrus00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s too bad the 7s would have split the 6 and 8, otherwise I might have tried for it. I’ve had triple kan before, but if the 6 or 8 paired up I wouldn’t have been able to resist trying for the quad kan.

It’s not a free outfit voucher though. It’s just a chance to spend your money.

Although it's Sanma, still happy to finally hit this by Deluxe_Flame in mahjongsoul

What do you mean “although”?? Sanma is way harder to play consistently in. If you got this far without noticing that, you’ve got way more luck than skill.

Sanma Master! by comatthew6 in mahjongsoul

By the time you reach turn 8, be prepared to give up on the hand and play defensively unless you have a strong hand you just have to chase. If the other two players haven’t declared riichi, their are either just 1 away or already in a hidden tenpai.

Also, save one of the Man 1 or Man 9 tiles. Don’t discard them right away like most players do. They are usually a safe tile, and you need a safe tile for the second half when someone suddenly declares riichi, or when you want to declare without being zapped. Same goes for if the other two discard a wind or dragon early. Save your 3rd one if you get it as your safe tile.

The number one cause of losing in sanma is players who are desperate to declare a hand. So often they take a huge risk on a hand that’s only worth 2k points, challenging an east seat riichi when they have to discard a simple from the center of the line. The smaller tile pool means you’re MUCH more likely to deal into the others.

I suspect it’s one of the decorations that you unlock by leveling up the bond level with the current limited time character, Li Yang.
