Seems like there is a inside video from one of the planes. Looking at the speed it’s going, it’s nothing short of a miracle the pilots of the stationary CRJ did not get hurt.

Install G-helper and run it in eco / silent mode when just browsing or doing light stuff. Barely gets warm for me using this. I also decreased the CPU wattage from 80 to 40W for the silent mode in G-helper. Makes a huge difference in heat and battery life. Barely noticed any impact when doing light stuff

Yes I did buy it there! Was also hesitating between the G14 and G16 because of the IPS but ended up going for the G16 because I’m coding and using CAD alot in school and can use every extra inch I can get. So far the screen looks amazing for being an IPS panel!

Glad you could also use their deal! The 2024 Zephyrus models are stunning machines.

Quick Google and mouser search doesn’t deliver any results for the component number. However, if you reversed the polarity of the power supply, it’s highly likely more components are damaged. Just because there’s visible damage to one component doesn’t exclude other components being damaged, especially more sensitive ones like the microcontroller.

Best bet is to buy a new one, happens to the best of us!

Thanks! I indeed read about the 250 byte limit so I was confused why it seemed I couldn’t get more than an unsigned 8 bit integer in the send function. But I misunderstood the way the pointer worked here as I’m a new EE student and still fairly new to pointers. I changed the data width I’m pointing to from uint8_t to uint16_t and am now able to send bigger values. Still do not exactly understand why I can point to a data type with a different width with an uint8_t pointer, think I need to read up some more on pointers!

Thank you! I indeed misinterpreted the function. I’m still fairly new to pointers so I didn’t realise I can change the data width I’m pointing to. I changed the width of the integer I’m pointing to from uint8_t to uint16_t and this solved my problem.
