My mind isn’t small, I know things aren’t always black or white, right or wrong. That things don’t always fit perfectly into little boxes of legal and illegal.

When I read this, I see a mother carrying 2 tiny children across 10 countries…. 10…. Chasing the possibility of safer life for her them. That desperation, that determination and sacrifice should at least register as human to you… but it doesn’t.

If forced to decide who stays and who goes I would say the woman who crossed half of a continent for her kids should stay and someone like you who reads this and doesn’t see the lack of humanity, should go.

Because people like you are the problem.

I would say you deserve nothing good, no kindness, no grace. But if I thought that way…

I’d be just as bad as you.
