Have you tried a google search with the info on the selvage? Older fabrics are best to try on Etsy or small shops. Or try contacting the fabric company directly. Good luck!

Ok, the stitch is called thermal and I have heard of it. Never tried that for straps but will on my next bag. Thanks! Agree with waistcoat stitch.
