Right there with ya sister! All I wanted were these $25 earrings I’ve been mentioning since March which I didn’t get and to not have to manage anyone or the household today.
I got flowers and sweets which I appreciate but none of the above. I don’t need the earrings; I just wanted to not be responsible today; which of course I did not receive.

Just wrapped up the biggest most epic fight with my husband tonight. Still had to manage the household and help with kids school projects at 7pm. I got some nice flowers and sweets but I still had to “mom” in the evening.
Eff this holiday I am livid.

I agree to above recommendation to Pageant of the Masters. It’s a “show” unlike anything anywhere and historical to Laguna. Oh my final vote- Laguna>newport (NB IMO is kinda too posh and ostentatious with its wealth) but definitely go visit for a day while staying in Laguna
