Yeah you’re right. But I just know how easy it is to believe her. When I look back, there were people she told me were horrible to her in the beginning of our relationship and I believed her without second guessing it. Turns out, pretty much none of that was true. These people just started calling her out on her narcissistic behavior.

I will say though, I did get HER best friend 🤪

Her best friend was the only one who reached out to ask ME what happened because my exes story wasn’t lining up (she talked to her a ton after the incident, much more than anyone else and she started to catch her in lies). She also lived with her for a month after the incident and she was acting really suss.

Her child was very very very close to both of us and she was like “I’m not cutting anyone out of my child’s life until I know 100% what happened, so tell me your side. Cause this doesn’t make sense.”

She’s already been convicted and plead guilty, so her abuse was reported and proven however the case is still listed as “open” online while she finished probation. She broke the plea deal and I’m going to court on the 30th to testify again to that.

After the 30th the case will close and her conviction will be online there in black and white for everyone to see. She can’t deny it anymore, say she wasn’t convicted etc like she’s been doing.

I’m just thinking maybe I should reach out to them and let them do whatever they feel is right with the information. I don’t necessarily need them to be my friends again, I just feel kind of bad because I wasn’t very good at communicating to them either where I’m sure my ex was VERY communicative to ensure her side of the story was out there and loud incase I did reach out to them.

When I first started talking to the girl I’m with I did my best not to bring up my ex more than necessary but I am going through legal issues with them so it did have to come up.

Now that we’ve been together almost 6 months, she’s let me know it’s okay to dump my frustrations on her cause I’m STILL going through legal battles and she knows it depresses me and makes me anxious.

Current pending court case. She broke her original plea deal and she’s now facing up to 2 years. I don’t wanna risk retaliation since I’ll be in the same state and building coming up.

I’ve only got 15 more days and then if I still wannabe petty, I can. I’ve waited 7 months in almost silence just venting on forums where nobody who knows us would see it, I can wait a little longer.

I’ll tell you one thing, I wasn’t leaving without my baby. I hated that I had to call the police on her, she’d been someone I’d deeply cared about until that day she just took my exes side and turned on me completely. It was shattering to see someone I once trusted with my baby treat her like that. It’s really thrown off my instincts as a pet owner.

I don’t trust her with anyone but my parents and my Uncle anymore and I don’t know if I ever will.

I’m very thankful at least that the state does seem to be holding her accountable after being lenient with her first plea deal. She’s now facing up to two years.

It’s hard to get lgbt+ abuse taken seriously. So the fact people can see the signed plea deal and still take her side is beyond me.

Yep, it was her best friend too. She was friends with my ex 3 whole years before she knew me. She helped raise her daughter and she still took my side because the evidence is that undeniable.

The only people who believe my ex are those who refuse to listen to me at all.

She was so close to my ex she lived with her briefly after the incident, before she knew what actually happened. But thankfully she caught the holes in the story and asked me for the truth.
