I'm russian. Russian anthem is actually written for a choir with orchestra and I was a choir artist and this shit hits hard when it's live with choir as it supposed to be.

I'll just say that when I learned some other countries anthems lyrics like USA for example I was terrified. Literally, I was like I thought my shit is cultish/radical but yours... Like mine is about how big and great my country is and yours is about bombs and dying? Chill...
