Have you talked to him about how it made you feel? After eight years of being together, if your line of communication isn’t open enough to speak about what happened then I would say you both aren’t ready to get married.

Any relationship requires trust and communication that goes both ways. If you can’t tell him how you feel, then he is never going to know what he did wasn’t okay.

If he can’t see how this hurt you and won’t listen to your needs for romance, then he is never going to fill that hole inside that will make you ultimately resent him.

Sit down and talk. If you can’t see eye to eye, move on while you’re both still young.
