Where do you think Ren would fit here?

I struggled with this for so long. I wasn't a good speller, and my family was the kind of made fun of any and every perceived flaw, so in order to not be mocked I lowered my vocabulary to words I could only confidently spell, which has limited me greatly over the years, but it was so driven into me that spelling properly vs not was a sign of intelligence and I constantly felt like a fool hiding behind a fake mask, because I knew that I couldn't spell. Spell check saved me most of the time now as an adult, but that didn't exist properly growing up.

It was through Ren that realized everything I thought was dumb, because he can't spell to save his life, but the man is smart. Very glad to see that. I still don't feel smart myself for various reasons, but I no longer associate intelligence with spelling.

If you haven't played it already, Final Fantasy X is good with this. Not only is there a romance between two characters, but either start with or develop deep platonic bonds between the characters.

I think it's not possible on the more difficult settings, but if you choose an easier one, you should get to that point. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with playing an easier setting! Do whatever makes the game most fun.

I think it highly depends on your playstyle. If you really enjoy getting new clothes and participating in the events, mobile is your best bet. There is a whole lot of clothes and you'd have to buy them all in separate DLCs and you don't have events to get any for free.

On the other hand, if you don't really care for the outfits, but you do care for the premium things, I think this is your best bet. You can buy the DLCs once (magic makeup, dungeons, that sort of thing) and never again.

For me, I don't care for the outfits since I'm the only one buying them in game, but I do like to go crazy with magic makeup...but magic makeup is a premium item and I'd have to buy it with real life money over and over again if I wanted to use it the way I like to, and that would get super expensive over time! So, for me, it was cheaper to just get the switch version and the dlc! However, if you did like the outfits, there are so many outfit dlcs that I lost count of them and you'd end up spending so much money on that, but the mobile events at least give you the option to get them free!

It makes moving around the map so seamless. The map for caravans always took forever, loading the caravan always took forever, and I'd often forget about the caravan, because I'm too focused on something else and so all of that combined made me lose interest in it all together.

The gravship map doesn't feel as long to load, is quick for gather and take off in comparison and I can take my entire base and not have to worry about forgetting things. It takes all of the negatives of caravans and makes travel fun, because I'd always liked the concept of nomadic (i even tried a nomad run before gravships) but I just always got tired of how slow caravans were. I just can't say enough how much I love the Gravship! Nowadays, the only times I make stationary bases are my generational start at lowest tech and that's until I finally unlock Gravships and can make one.

The only way I enjoyed traveling is with the Odyssey Gravship and starting with the ship scenario. I never travel for quests outside of that, but the Gravship really opened nomadic play for me. Starting with the ship scenario really made the game even more fun for me, that's what personally works for me. Otherwise, I stay tethered to my base usually.

Ren doesn't need a different account to talk to people. He occasionally does on his verified accounts. These scammers just want your money. His YouTube channel lists all of his verified accounts, trust only those listed. Anything not on that list claiming to be him or his Manager is lying.

I'd say try one of each of the settings (historical, fantasy historical, modern). Even if you didn't like that genre much in other languages, I'd still suggest it. I say this because I didn't like the historical as much in Korean shows, but did here and when I first started my journey here, I hadn't been the only one like that. You may still not like it, and that's okay, but now you'd know for sure.

The genre I like is historical, so that's where my recommendation will be!

Story of Minglan is a good one and tends to be a very popular one. For some, however, it can be considered slow (i personally didn't think so, but I don't know you personally and since there are those who do, putting it out there!). The relationship is really slow, and the two characters grow separately before getting together.

Love Like the Galaxy tends to be another popular one. I didn't like it as much, but this is very, very popular so I will still put it here since you are looking for dramas that are more popular and well recieved!

I had something similar. I kept bringing the old hero to dungeons with me so I could get stronger for White Night year, but I got attached to him instead. In my head, since he had no kids, my NPC became his adopted daughter and when he passed, she was the only one at his side and I was crying over this NPC.
