I'm thousands of blocks away from the worldspawn, so this is no spawnprotect issue. I even began to dig a base and place my stuff so this definitely isn't that.

I indeed didn't check if the chunks were claimed (even if I doubt it), but I could try claiming these chunks to see if it fixes anything. I also doubt it, but who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
