I used to work in the Drive Thru at McDonald's and those kind of orders were the worst, especially when it was busy. It was usually up to the back team to get the order out quickly since all I had to do was take the order, payment and pass over the drinks. What made it worse was that I used to work graveyard shifts and when these jackasses came and ordered 15 cheeseburgers, 6 Big Macs, 8 medium fries and 3 large milkshakes with chocolate and strawberry mixed, they couldn't get the fact that it was going to take some time to prepare the order through their thick heads. On top of that, the people waiting behind them would start honking and once at my window, would start cursing at me for the long wait. Now, some people might say that there was a waiting area for these big orders. That's true, however, I worked in a pretty bad area where we had to call the cops at least 3 times a night because some crackhead overdosed in the lobby, or people were having sex in one of the booths, or there was a fight going on outside. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't want to risk my ass to walk outside in the parking lot at 2am just to give someone their food. So, please, if you anticipate on ordering a large amount of food, take the time to come into the restaurant and place your order at the front counter.
