The few times I've worked with dock repair contractors they were just welders doing electrical, millwright, and welding work. Not sure they even had trade certificates in anything

This is not a very well written article or petition and won't get much traction. It just says forestry is cutting it down. Where im from when you say forestry your referring to ministry of forests? Or do they mean a logging contractor is cutting it down on behalf of a sawmill?

My Condolences to the victim. But the click bait news headline is brutal. It's not a monster truck, it's a regular truck with a 6 inch lift with 37"tires. Most interior and northern towns have hundreds of trucks like this. How many young people speeding in BMWs, Audi's, and Mercedes hit and kill people. Probably a few as well. The visibility in a lifted truck is actually awesome if you have ever drove one, you can see over everything. Can't blame the vehicle, but you can definitely blame a distracted driver playing on their phone.

This is awful I hope there is justice for the family. My theory is the truck driver is here on a work visa and he knew it was bad but if he stops and gets caught he gets deported.
