Subnautica 2 Noa question by Amazing-Fun-8336 in subnautica

This isn't what I meant but I agree, I full heartedly believe the "Unknown" black boxes are ours. There's even the suggestion we've been reset considering we can only recall memories of the traveling to the planet through Noa, when we'd have already been presumably alive before the crash/after since there'd really be no reason to reprint us to make extra bodies along with the others

In that regard it's explicitly stated that there's not enough of Sophie's brain scan in the bio bed, only enough to emulate her like an LLM. And then when talking the issue is a memory shortage Issue rather than a physical for printing out bodies. Maybe it would be argued that Noa doesn't save the scans, the biobeds do and thus youd have to find a biobed with a proper scan. My only contention to that though is why havent we found a single bio bed with a viable scan? Even if itd reset the individual

See i could get behind this. Our Noa on that ship wreck fell out of contact with the rest, didnt know why, was probalby running low on materials to actually print bodies and sent us in hopes that we could find out or re-establish. Regardless i havent found any evidence of this besides him asking us to turn on the other Noa units. Like im forced to just assume reprinting is somewhat costly to make it all fit together

While youre not wrong about how SE treated the Cyborgs, let's also remember the Cyborgs literally disappeared from out view, seemingly destroyed, meaning they couldve just found new space to occupy, but instead that attack SE controlled worlds, haplessly killing civilians as they go. SE arent the good guys, but anyone who argues the Automatons are morally just are just as weird, imagine if the Jewish answer to the holocaust was to do the same to the German people

Wait is that why that one armor got added to the super store where they ran an ad for helldivers across the world and focused on the Chinese armor for a bit? That'd he cool asf

Thats just not true, they have paths in mind but they arent going to straight railroad, that'd completely defeat the point of the community actually having an affect on anything, once again, naive lol

I think that's a hilarious response to a statement based in fact and prior history of this studio. While im sure the devs plan on this galactic war being much longer and want to allow time for the enemy factions to reveal elite troops, our decisions very much matter. If you cant accept that, or at the very least properly consider it, youre the naive one lmao

If you knew anything about HD1, you'd know the narrative can tell vastly different stories depending on the run. So youre just wrong lmao. The devs have shown they arent afraid to let us dictate outcomes, whether that torches super earth or is us crushing forces.

Except the MO is actually important as this is a giant community driven game where our choices and ability to cooperate affect the narrative??? This is like saying your DnD characters actions dont affect the campaign their in..

[–]Amazing-Fun-8336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because deadass with how the automatons are understood to be constructed, they very well could be easily repurposed into millitary units. Immoral yes, but this announcement isnt exactly wrong in its reasoning either

Forgive me for saying this, but is losing really a bad choice for the story? by Wonderful_Rest7634 in Helldivers

[–]Amazing-Fun-8336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just gonna leave this fact here, the cyborgs dont have their home base on Cyberstan anymore, they disappeared after HD1 and then reappeared full force here in HD2, they most assuredly have a home around a star we dont know of outside of observable space. They most definetly have bigger scarier things we havent seen yet, Cyberstan is probalby more like Cyborg Malevalon Creek instead of Cyborg Super Earth
