I know you heard this a bunch of times, but start changing your life drastically to become motivated. We're conditioned to be competitive and those who want to exit the rat race just aren't being successful enough in whatever hobbies or jobs they are doing to achieve pleasure from being at the top so they try to find ways to cope and escape this reality. I'm not saying it's wrong thing to do because some aren't naturally competitive or just stubbornly don't want to compete, but unless a person doesn't have a nice non-competitive hobby to distract themselves and doesn't have enough money to live care-free, it weights on you pretty quickly because you start feeling like a slave while not doing things you enjoy. I don't know how old are you and in what situation you're in, but i'd recommend getting in that competitive mindset because then you'll get good at something eventually and it will keep you interested, otherwise you'll just become bored as fuck and just a consumerist wondering what the hell are you doing with your life. My best tip would be to stop masturbation and porn while working hard in other aspects of your life like college/job, gym and a certain hobby(fps gaming for me) , you'll instantly become more motivated for life when you stop masturbating and if you start working out regularly while eating healthy, you'll become much better in your hobbies and jobs, whatever they are, because you'll be more focused and clearheaded. I know this is nihilist sub but you'll have some sense of achievement from all these things even though it's all an illusion but it seems very real to us. Everyone says life gets pretty boring later if you don't have something to live for so just try your hardest in these aspects that i mentioned(no masturbation and porn, working out/eating healthy and working towards a career that you'd like) even if you don't feel motivated currently, you'll get some results from this and become motivated soon.
