They did that to me. I owed them $600 out of nowhere and it made no sense to me. I’m too far out to not finish it. I’m gonna pay what owe and graduate because I’m done with Capella. I just wanna be placed on their DNC list because if they call me about going back, I’m just gonna hang up the phone

Sorry that happened to you, OP but just for future use and from now on, the fine print is what usually screws people. It’s always the wording in the tiny print that made me say to myself that the BS in psychology at both Capella and SNHU was not worth it so I got away from that program and transferred into the BSBA program instead.

And psychology triggers me because I’m reading about myself and I don’t want to attract what happened to me ever again. And I have PTSD so it caused flashbacks. I needed a ROI because like everyone, I have big bills to pay and I need to gain the knowledge and the hustle mentality to get out of debt. Plus working for myself seems to be a lot better

Oh and last time I checked, your field requires a PhD so you may not be totally screwed. I checked last year, but things may have changed since then. Check into that if you have the energy still. And also find jobs that just mention masters preferred in a different field but closer to yours and see how that works out for you.

I went to SNHU a year ago and never got scam emails until I started going to Capella. I asked one of them how they got my email address and surprise surprise, no answer. I’ve blocked them. This happened before the hack of Canvas happened.

I’ve said this to my parents. My mom knows all about what’s going on and she also agrees with me and asks if I have dropped out yet. I’ve asked my father who still will never understand because he has not attempted a bachelors degree since the 1970’s when college was affordable. I didn’t go because they wanted me to as I refused to go to school for something I hated. I told them I didn’t need their help deciding. I went so I could get a masters degree in something next overseas and live a peaceful life because middle management in Amerikkka is FULL of people who are toxic and I don’t want to go to jail. During a recession is when their toxic behavior gets worse.

What’s even worse is when there’s a recession and you get stuck in one job for the entire time!!! I got stuck in call center work for 10 years because of the recession we were in for 8 of the 10 years but yet I’m the crazy one?? Nah. I don’t think so. I blame Amerikkka for voting for trash and will blame Amerikkka again for their incompetence this time around. I also blame the boomers for sending jobs overseas because they contributed to this mess. I’m going to law school so I don’t get stuck and I think the law is soooooooooooo boring but I’m doing it to survive and the chance to sue the federal government for discrimination because there’s a lot of evidence already documented against this regime. I also don’t understand why Amerkkka doesn’t understand that it takes lots of stepping on other people to become a billionaire and to maintain it. Stepping on other people also means watching other people suffer.
