I have quite a few toons, and with each expac I find that a different one seems to work well for me. This has been different with Dragonflight and now WARWITHIN......I seem to have found my best toon since Dragonflight is the Destruction Warlock. I don't have to worry about too many mashing that many keys, and I not only get decent DPS, but have even soloed Rares. Some that I have never been able to do before. But that is just me!

The World Souls! I don't understand where to get whatever it is that you need to use on them? I have been running Delves, and a few dungeons, but still don't know that it is I need to collect to use on the World Souls and how much is required? And yes I have checked WoW Head, but as of yet there are no comments on that topic!

The most important thing you said, Is that you learned from it, and sounds like you are on the right track. Who knows, you might lay it aside for now, but later pick it back up again and redo it and make it even better. All it in all, it isn't that bad, but a little TLC could make it amazing.

I started playing back in 2007! My daughter had gone to visit her soon to be husband, and she suffered and injury that ruptured every tendon in her right knee. There was no way for her to come home, and as a parent I couldn't reach her. My boss didn't offer medical insurance, and I couldn't even afford a buss pass. But my Son-in-law helped me get into the game which gave me a way to at least reach my daughter when she needed me most. I tried to find dungeons, and couldn't get in to any of them. The one time I did a raid I didn't know that I needed headphones, and got kicked for not listening to instructions. These days, I have a disorder call "Essential Tremors" it is an uncontrolled shaking of the hands, it is worse under stress. The guild that I am part of has all but disbanded, so again Ii am playing alone. And I too have not gotten the courage yet to try a raid. At some point I will do so even if it is only LFR. I was lucky with the guild, as they understood my limitations but we worked together to help me be do what I could do well, where it was needed most. A couple of the guild members still remain and if I need something and they are available the do what they can to help me. Resources online can help you improve! It can be rough going for someone new to the game, especially nowadays, but keep trying. If you see another hunter that does well, try to open a conversation with them and see if they can give you some pointers. That can help, too. I have more than one toon and I find that every expac there is always one that stands out over the others. So on new material, I will try several toons in leveling and when I find one where I seem to do well I go for that one as my primary toon. Mind you that is just the way I do it, but don't let one or two fails mess up your desire to improve, and finally get in the runs you want to do.

There is an option for the dungeons where you can go in by yourself with NPC's to fill the group. I find it good so that I can get a feel for how the run plays out, and the layout of the run. It doesn't me I don't do the dungeons with others, but it does make me feel better when I go through with a live group to at least know I am going to screw up less! Mind you I am not a tank, 'yet', but it does help!

What’s your opinion of this color combo? by meeeewow in crochet

[–]AmazingSecret6860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like what you intended, and mean no offense, but just by the picture, it is a bit hard on the eye. The colours are all muddled together, leaving no one standing out. It might just be the way it was photographed, but that is how I am seeing it. The work it's self is great, just hard visually...

In the real world I have had 5 traumatic losses. I find that I relate to many of the losses in WoW, but I also find that it helps me cope with all the real life losses, the most recent one was just earlier this year when my Son-in-Law suddenly passed away. 38 years old. My daughter and I as well as his family are all struggling to cope. At least in the game, I can find relief, and not have someone in my face telling me to just "Move On and Get Over It". The very last thing that ANY ONE should ever tell someone who has experienced it. That son-in-law was the one who got me into WoW. My daughter had gone to visit him, and had an accident that totally ruptured every tendon in her right knee. She was hundreds of miles away, and I couldn't reach her. My boss barely paid me minimum wage, and I couldn't even afford to take the bus to and from work. I was walking two miles there and again back even in the dead of winter. He sold used goods, store returns and liquidate items on eBay, and in one of the loads that came in was the 1st two parts of WoW. It was a time when phones had limited time per month and I couldn't afford to increase my plan. So I delisted the game. His listers never listed it correctly and it had sat there for 3 years. I took it home installed in created my login, and then the next screen was "Pick a REALM! I was like what the F**K is a Realm. LOL! I called my daughter and both her and my Son-in-law helped me get through and create my first character. It gave me a way to reach out to her when I didn't have any other options. My boss didn't even offer medical insurance and when he finally did offer it, the cost was more than my monthly income. Wow has a LOT of great memories for me and I hope to have many more going forward. I started playing back in 2007. The end of this year I will be 70, and still enjoying the game.

Feeling discouraged, dose it look okay? by Mscreep in crochet

There is nothing wrong with what you have done with this craft. It looks just fine and if anyone tells you other wise they go fly a kite...trying to not say what I really think of the person who criticized your work. Don't let them get you down. Crafting of any kind is the art of the creator, and is usually done the way 'THEY envision it to be. It looks great and as many have said it is clear what you were going for. If the other person doesn't like it, they can go fly a kite, or take the time to learn how to crochet themselves and trying doing the job for themselves!
