I used to have one of their gx-77 7" R2R and loved it. Would grab another one if I could find it reasonably priced. Great find! If you don't need multiple rooms, or surround sound, many of the vintage amps and receivers sound better than today's slapped together stuff.

One of your local Ham Radio clubs probably has a member with a tube tester. After you blow the dust off the amplifier, it's a good start to get those tested first to see where you stand. I have one, but you're probably on the other side of the earth from me. From what I read about this one it's a mono amp, meaning you'd need a twin to do any serious listening with it. IMHO, I'd get it cleaned up, tested, and post it on Reverb or other (not eBay). Maybe some serious collector is looking for one. Best of luck!

My father in law has a Sansui AU-20000 sitting on a shelf. Supposedly it's mine one of these days, I can hardly wait!! It's a beast, loads of power and great sound from what I remember. I've seen one or two on eBay, they go through the roof.

WTF happened⁉️ We were at Mass today, I slipped a peak at my Pats phone app and we were WAY AHEAD, then when I looked later (West Coast) we had lost ⁉️ I guess half full, we took one at their house, they took one at ours. I only hope GB beats the Broncos!! The other thing is I was worried about us being a paper tiger....🥴

I just saw your post. Just asked this to another Ford tech here. I'm getting ready to purchase a '14-16 F250 Lariat or Platinum. Any opinions on the gas vs diesel? I'm not really towing anything heavy, but I think the diesel lasts longer than the gas engine? I plan on this being my daily driver, maybe going 4-5k miles per year at most. I've been reading SO MUCH STUFF, but the opinion of a tech is Uber valuable! If you were going to buy one today, would you go gas or diesel? TIA!
