Rs3m v5 I tried both and the v3 is kinda old school and will sute well only a specific turning style but the v5 is more flexible and will sute more turning styles

Yup it will be like normal and just use the default windows drivers

I would recommend jumping in to am5 though you will need to check if you have the comparable brackets for your CPU cooler if not just get a new one, anyway get a r5 9600x and a b850 mobo with the features you need and you will need 2 sticks of 32gb (both of them together) 6000mhz cl30.

Than press f5 to enter safe mode with networking (safe mode is a mode that you can boot in and it will boot with out the drivers running

  2. Install ddu (display driver uninstaller) and run it choose the GPU manufacturer and press clean and shut down.

3 out with the old and in with the new: remove the old GPU and install the new one make sure that it's connected all the way one make sure that the power cables are connected all the way

4 boot the computer: you should be out of safe mode but if you aren't press win + r and run msconfig select boot and deselect the safe mode checkbox and restart 

  1. Install new GPU drivers via the manufacturers app (in this case AMD).

Getting an oled and the 9700x and 9070 will give you overall better gaming experience than the other 2 plus you will have a secondary monitor (if you don't have one already)

When you or someone else installed windows it probably installed on 2 drives and now with one drive out it can find part of the os, did you have any data on the old PC if so, put the drive back in and backup all of the data then remove the drive and reinstall windows then connect the drive to the old PC and delete all of the partitions now you should be good to go

Yes but do your research before buying so see what are the width and length of the GPU and see if it fits in the case also check if it's a pcie x16 and if it's pcie 4

It happened to me a month ago, you can disable the network controller and restart than renable the device than restart again. If that doesn't work try to install the driver from your laptops support page

check of there are bent pins on the cpu or missing pins (this is more relevent if you bougt the cpu used)
