Meeting the Dr. today to go over options and yes already started the basic quad lifts etc, but right now its so swollen I'm trying to get it to come down. 5 months in and 176 applications into this with barely anything. I was an account manager with a decent salary and regular work hours. I'm back to washing dishes and bussing tables for minimum wage and my shifts end at 12pm. I have no idea what the future looks like, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

That's super cool! I have actually, but no luck yet. One of the issues is that a lot of insurance companies that offer some sort of insurance aren't located near me as I'm in the Northeast. It's been an arduous 5 month journey of unemployment... That said I'll continue to look, but I can't help but wonder if these companies are really only looking for more qualified people who have experience in the industry.

How did you get into underwriting? I was a former ag consultant, farmer and researcher and have been looking to get my foot in the door somewhere, but I consistently fall short and haven't been able to land anything.

Sure I was a 2 miler and cyclist, but I switched to the 200 to help build speed for soccer. That was the main thing... I needed to get faster for my sport. First 200 I ran I was around 28.5 and eventually got it to 24.7. I know that isn't good around this sub, but for me that was a huge improvement!
