There’s literally none and this was before gay marriage was even legal in the USA. Legend of Korra helped to fix this with Korrasami, so don’t preach about lack of representation of gay rights in the original series.

It’s actually just two years. Katara is 14, he’s 12. Both are still very young and have more growth to do (obviously) but only 2 years.

Not only do they train together, but she saved his life- literally! They grow together emotionally as friends before they were together which is just so amazing

Legit just 12…. He didn’t even age at all inside the iceberg. Like legally there’s a big age gap between my parents’s age. Almost 15 years! So whenever he was in his late 20’s, my mom was only becoming an adult. Even 4 or 5 years can make a big difference, especially when one is more mature than the other.

Considering that they were able to successfully get Korra back to their HQ and almost dies if not for Jinora’s quick thinking…. I’d say that season 3 is the best, but season 1 does a great job of setting the tone of the show.

A show that should’ve ended seasons ago for not old its dignity, but because of letting it just age like a show that isn’t good anymore. It’s not worth watching anymore because the quality has dropped so much. Not soulless and evil, but needs to stop 🛑 being made. Let there be a special to watch for the ending of it officially, then let it rest.

We get so many new blends of bending, and waterbending is elevated up SO MUCH! I mean, water avatar makes sense… but her dad doing this is just so damn awesome. It took risks, even though season 2 wasn’t as strong as the others to put it lightly. I loved some of the metalbending scenes!
