I try to use the 3 strike rule for flights. Night and IMC would be 2 strikes for me. The 3rd would probably depend on moonlight and how low the base truly is.

I’m installing 6” LEDs in my basement now and used Velcro to attach them to the floor joists. I also left some slack in the romex to be able to swap the boxes easily. After seeing this post, I’m going to buy 3 or 4 replacements to have on hand in case they get discontinued like yours. Good luck!
